A few days ago, I visited one of the oldest colleges near Denver, the 180-year-old Colarado College. The place is known as Colarado Springs. In this college, students from different nationalities and VIP families study. 

I had a chance to visit various departments and was hugely impressed. What repeatedly came to my mind was the unity in diversity, which I had experienced so much in the awesome country of the UAE.

Vasanthy.Yes Ram.Oulr love is true and above all sacred one.We met after  twenty five years  and i still remember my Ram's   taste.
What was the first movie we saw in Bangalore.
Ram.How can i forget my  favorite movie Sumai Thangi and the songs sung by P.B.Srinivas.
Vasanthy.Unfortunately he is no more.One of the talented singer with gifted voice.Kalakkama Mayakkama song even today we enjoy.

Indian leader sets a good example       l  enjoyed watching the television coverage of the swearing-in ceremony for the new prime minister of India, Narendra Modi, and his cabinet ministers.

Inviting South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation leaders, particularly those from Pakistan and Sri Lanka, was a welcome gesture.

It was also good to see various other dignitaries and film personalities there.

The ceremony gave a clear indication of Mr Modi’s approach for peace and stability in the region. Apart from this the entire nation is expecting good governance from him, which I hope he will deliver.

Rebuilding Cong
Power &Politics(TNSE May 25) was an interesting read.Even though the Congress claims to be one of the oldest parties, their ruling in few states shows the people's acceptance.After the recent election results now congress party has lost complete faith and confidence of the people.It is a tough task for Rahul Gandhi to rebuild the party's  image and ideology.It is easy to build a new party rather  rebuild the damage of the old party.

Tribute to Narendra Modi 300.

Today i am going to pen another interesting personality who has created a revolution in Indian Politics in the recent election   was  none other than NarendraModi. Even though i am not belonging to any political party i am forced to  write this week on this talented ,Dynamic personality  who has Mesmerized young youths and the Commonman
in the recent election and Won with sweeping majority was the big history in the Indian Politics.I have been rising my voice for nearly a decade  for the Middle class and  ,Commonman's day to problem which no government was bothered to take care.After seeing all those hurdles the people of India has given a  full mandate for him  no one can deny.As a Commonman of this country i expect  the following things should be taken care.Those things,Inflation,Education and  Medical treatment   at a affordable price, Infrastructure  for  Good roads,Water and Electricity made available through out.The above points i have been mentioning in my letters periodically both in Indian NewsPapers and UAE Papers.Since people has given their verdict fully to Modi he should  deliver and make the people happy.Even 25% of the problems if he solved initially i will be happy which i have not seen in  five decades.Today i am happy to tribute this Stalwart who was bestowed to  the position of Prime Minister of India and  i am having my fullest confidence that he will keep up the expectations of the people.

I am amazed at the way pets are adored in Denver. On my regular walks, I notice many people from the neighbourhood who carry their dogs along. A few days ago, I met a person who was walking along with his pet. He “introduced” his dog and I was surprised by the name. It was the same as that of a famous former leader. Everything is taken in good humour and that makes life interesting.

Atkinson.Ram,There is some new development from Our head office.They are introducing  some new concept.
Ram.What is that
Atkinson.We have to  meet big Corporate Giants   here as well North Africa and Cyprus to get their advertisement requirements.Our  Company wants to expand this area.
Ram.Good idea.So that Our Channel will be more  popular .
Atkinson.Yes ,I have decided that you should lead here for   this concept to meet Corporate giants.
Ram.The responsibility bestowed  on me is very big.Wheather i can deliver or not  i myself do n't know.
Atkinson.I know you can deliver.In your team i am adding Elizabeth and D.Souza    to help you in this new project.First few months we will identify Dubai and other places in UAE later we can expand to other areas.
ram.Thank you for your confidence on me.This is really a tough job
Atkinson.Not for you.You have got the convincing and soft approach.You know the recent Indian Election results and how Modi has come because the people bestowed him the responsibility fully well will deliver.

Tribute to Cinematographer S.Gopal Reddy 299.

Today i remembered another  film personality from  South Indian Film Industry is none other than Cinematographer ,Producer S.Gopal Reddy.He has worked in Telugu, and Hindi films also produced couple of films is important. In his four decades film career he has worked with leading actors and Directors and given  many remarkable films.Known for his  clean bright shots both in indoor and out door is worth to be mentioned here.Even though he has contributed plenty of films i have seen few films of  this Stalwart.Those films are,Inquilaab,,Dil Waala,Aakree Raasta, Khatron ki khiladi,Kaanoon Apna Apna,CoolieNo1,,and Don. (Hindifilms).
He was  not only liked by Telugu Film fraternity but also famous Bolly Wood film industry.Those  days his camera work was  created a big impact is not a exaggerated one.He has also contributed Kannada movie also.He was also bestowed twice film fare award for his Cinematography in 2004 and 2006.Telugu film industry has created many talented technicians and their contribution to Indian Cinema was laudable.S.Gopal Reddy is one talented Technician who had his own identity.Today i am happy to tribute this talented Cinematographer.

Solar comfort

A daily walking routine is a healthy habit. Before reaching the US, I thought I could go for my routine walk without any break. However, I now realise that I have to depend on the day-to-day weather forecast on television channels before stepping out. 

What is amazing is the accuracy of the predictions. For a few days, there was heavy snowfall disturbing the normal routine. As I have worked in the UAE for several years where the sun shines almost round the year, I missed the solar comfort. Fortunately, I could walk under the sun after three days of cold spell. It was an enjoyable moment.

The Good days are Coming
Your cover storiesin the may 2 edition were a nice and meaningful read.As per analys predictions, the election results are going to make a dramatic change in Indian politics for  corruption-free better governance.
Narendra Modi's main challenge is to eradicate the communal brand stamped on  hin by the congress party;
which he will certainly overcomeeven though it is a tough task.
Having proved he is a good administrator in his home state Gujarat, he will certainlygovern New Delhi with out any difficultyif he is given opportunity to.
The West's eyes are on the coming results because India has a hugeand growing consumer market.
The long ruling-congress party has miserably failed in good governance and not fulfilled it's commonman agenda.
That has helped Modi. Ultimately the people's verdictis going to be for change and we can wait afew more days to witness that.

Kathambari.Your friend Murthy's Company opened a Office here .May be they may  look for a  person who has got experience.
Ram.I do n't know wheather they require or not.I will find out for you.

Tribute to Producer,Director Pandi Raj 298.

Today i  remembered another interesting film personality from the Tamil film industry is none other than Director Pandiraj.In his  two decades film career he has established his identity is important.Started his career with famous director Cheran and later he become an independent.His first directorial debut Pasanga gave him a good name and won many awards including National award.Pasanga was a good comedy  movie with all new talented actors.Vimal has done very well in this movie.Good cinematography by Premkumar in Pasanga and other  technical aspects was more visiblein this film.I Have seen three films of thisdirector.Those movies are,Pasanga,Vamsham,and Marina.Vimal and Siva Karthekeyan has aced very well in Pasanga and Marina.Today film industry has many talented technicians particularly in tamil film industry is  worth to be mentioned here.Today i am happy to tribute this talented Up coming Director.Producers should utilaise this talented technician.

I was sad to read the report 15 killed as labourers’ bus ploughs into lorry (May 11). This tragedy that happened in Emirates Road claimed the lives of poor Asian labourers.

So many of them die in similar accidents in the UAE. I am surprised that despite so many rules and regulations, such horrifying accidents still take place. Is it because rules are not observed or is it because they are not implemented? It might be hard to get the answer.

Good feeling

Politeness is an admirable trait. As a tourist, I am happy to note that most people in Denver are friendly and humble. Last week, I went to a famous shopping mall. After shopping, I was paying the amount at the cash counter and the cashier was looking for balance change. 

I told him not to bother, as it was only 3 cents. However, he asked me to wait for a few seconds, collected money from the next customer and gave me 3 cents. It may be a simple gesture, but as a customer, I felt like a king.

Tribute to Cinematographer Kamal Bose 297.

Today i am going to pen another interesting film personality from Bollywood film  industry is none other than Cinematographer Kamal Bose.He was associated with Veteran Director Bimal Roy for many films He has worked with all top class actors of  both Bengali and Hindi films five decades back.He  has won National awards for five of his films is worth to be mentioned here.Known for his brilliant shots  in the old black &white era to the advanced Colur films.After the demise of Stalwart BimalRoy Bose was associated with Director Asit Sen over a decade and later he was worked with late Producer, Director FerozKhan is important. He has given many remarkable films with his  magic shots of both indoor and out door.I have seen couple of movies of this doyen.Those movies are,Bandini,Anokhiraat,Khamoshi,Daastak,Qurbani,Dharmatma,Bairaag,Jaan baaz,and Dayavan. He was liked by the film fraternity. Even though he is not with us  today his memorable films are with us.I am writing this column with my little knowledge ,if there is any error can be ignored Kamal Bose was also hails from Bengal where many talented technicians was born. .Today i am happy to tribute this remarkable Stalwart.

Joy of nature

In Denver, US, there is a tourist destination known as “Garden of Gods.” Last week, I visited this place. There were a few broken pink rocks. As per the description given there, the rocks had formed naturally several years ago. The atmosphere is cool and people can walk along the track. Many trekkers also visit the place, as mountain trekking in the area is a huge attraction. The government is preserving this historical place in an admirable way. Watching a few youngsters trekking left me in utter joy. Connecting with nature is indeed a pleasure for human beings.
