Old Pharma days.
After seeing each veeran’s adventure in their career, I too feel like sharing my good old pharmaceutical-field memories from my tenure between 1967 and 1978 in the beautiful city of Madurai.
I fondly remember our friendly gatherings at Chamundi Shop with the late Vivekanandan, and our monthly association meetings with all comrades—those moments are still fresh in my mind.
In the early years, between 1967 and 1969, I was covering Tiruchy. I had a pleasant stay at Mayavaram Lodge, where I often met friends from other headquarters. I still recall watching night shows at Aruna Theatre—if my memory serves me right.
In Pudukkottai, meals at Ambi’s Café were always delightful.
My Dindigul days were memorable as well—staying at Pandyan Lodge, enjoying tiffin and meals at Lakshmivilas, and the wonderful food at Rajamani Iyer Hotel.
In Theni, Pandyan Lodge and the hotel near the bus stand are still fresh in my mind.
I always loved watching Vittalacharya movies during my out-station tours.
I cherish the discussions with Hoechst Bala and Sathyamurthy in Theni, and the amazing doctors in Dindigul and all my other areas. Meeting them, along with the wonderful colleagues from various companies, made those days unforgettable.
I just wanted to share these cherished memories.
With Warm regards
