The report that bad   weather hit the rescue operationsin Uttarakhand and that mass funerals were conduvted was sad and painful to read (TNIE June 27). This tragedy 

could have been averted to some extent if the government had some back up plan. I Pray for the victims as well as  the NDRF men who lost their lives during rescue operations

A friend of mine is a frequent traveller to the UAE for business. Last week, at an indoor sport event, he asked where I had worked earlier and I replied that I had spent 16 glorious years in the UAE. 

“Do you know that Google has used advanced imaging technology ‘Street View’ to capture the world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa?” he asked me.

 “Of course,” I replied. I love the UAE so much that I always keep reading about its achievements. For me, the UAE is a model country that sets high standards for others to follow.

I am writing in reference to the news article Deadly attack in Kashmir ahead of India PM's trip (June 25).
The militant attack on an army convoy at such a time indicates that the Indian government's security measures are not adequate. It's time the government took stern measures to tackle security issues in Kashmir. Attacks on army personnel have become a regular feature in the valley.

I was impressed by Street view hits the heights of Burj Khalifa (June 25).

This initiative by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, supported by the internet giant Google, is laudable.

With this panoramic guide I am sure tourist numbers in the UAE will increase.

This also adds to the many firsts Dubai already has to its credit.

Next day evening Kathambari took Ram to his new flat.Ram was delighted to see the amenities.Lovely  flat
Ram signed the agreement.The land lord was nice .In general Arabs are nice and  well behaved.Ram was impressed by the land lord.After finishing the work Kathambari wanted to take Ram for dinner.They came to
Venus restaurant which Ram earlier visited With Kathambari and Vasanthy.The food was delicious and both enjoyed the dinner.
After that Kathambari droped Ram to his hotel
Ram ,tomorrow evening i will ask Alito help you for shifting.
Ram.Fine,I will wait for fim tomorrow.
Kathambari left  by that time his phone was ringing.Raj was in the other line.

Ram.I was about to call you regarding the material sent by mail.Very impressive one.My MD has agreed to cover in our night edition.Exact day not fixed.May be in a day or two.

Tribute to Director Prabhu Solomon 252.

Today i remembered another  film personality who has done  good work in Tamil film  industry for the past one and half decades was none other than Director Prabhu Solomon.Started his career with famous Director Agathian  and later he had his own identity is not a exaggerated one. Few films  gave him good recognition from the cine  fans.Ihave seen Mynaa which he got award from  Vijay for best story,Screen play writer  and nominated for Film fare for Best Director., .Few other films Kokki,Laadam,King,and Kannodu Kaanbathellam Today' leading stars .Ajith,Vikram Karan ,,Bolly wood actress Sonali Bendre, ,Vinoo Chakravarthy  late Manivannan and Nizalgal Ravi acted in his movies.His latest  film Kumki i have not seen.This is a new concept and he introduced Actor Prabhu 's son Vikram produced by Popular Director N.Lingu swamy   doing well in the screens.Good Cinematography ,Music and powerful dialoques will be visible in this Director's movies.Kumki is awaiting for Best Director award for him.Today i am happy to tribute this talented Up coming Director from the famous place Neyveli.
