Tribute to Mohan Rangachari (Crazy Mohan)
Today, I am compelled to pay tribute to a versatile personality from the South Indian TamilFilm Industry who established his identity in Stage, Film, and Philanthropy. This person is none other than the actor, playwright, and dialogue writer Mohan Rangachari, popularly known as Crazy Mohan. As an engineering graduate, his approach towards writing and acting in comedy characters during his early days later became his defining feature, which is truly admirable. His meaningful comedy dialogues made him immensely popular and even more beloved among his fans, earning him the nickname Crazy Mohan. He has been remembered and honored by many, and I, for my own satisfaction, want to feature him in my blogs in this tribute today. He received numerous awards and was well-regarded by leading actors and directors. His production company, Crazy Creations, was famous decades ago and had its own dedicated fan base, which is not an exaggeration. Beyond his writing endeavors, his philanthropic nature, particularly his support for kidney transplantation and other surgeries, is commendable. He was involved in the production of many films, stage plays, and serials, and was beloved by everyone in his friends' circle and the film fraternity; this is undeniable. Although he departed from us a few years ago, his remarkable creative work still stands before us. This individual will be remembered forever, and today, I am pleased to pay tribute to this legend.
