Tribute to Cinematographer (Satyajit Pande )Setu 664.Revised

 Today i remembered another Interesting film personality from the Bolly Wood Film Industry is none other than Cinematographer Satyajit Pande popularly known as Setu.Started his career with advertisement and Documentary films later become an independent Cinematographer and established  his name  as Setu very well .He was associated with Stalwart Aamir khan's few films and made a good name for both.He has worked with all the leading actors and Directors .Beautiful frame work will be more visible in his films.I have seen Couple of Films of this Cinematographer. Those films are Tarezameen par,Dangal,Lagaan (Second unit)Kahaani and Dil Bechara one or two films i could n't recollect. Even though he has given few films in his two decades film career his films was successful and made a big impact.Tarezameen Par,Dangal,Kahaani was his excellent work is my opinion. He is one of the few talented technicians Indian Cinema has today.Today in all the Five languages Hindi,Tamil,Kannada ,Telugu and Malayalam  we have talented Cinematographers who has their own identity is not an exaggerated one.Today i am very happy to tribute this talented Cinematographer.

Another incident.

 Another shocking incident after the recent California shooting in the US As per the authorities .this time this incident was targeted .The US Biden administration must stop the licence culture to avoid in the future this type of incidents.Even targeting or killing human beings in public places are highly unacceptable. Another sad and painful incident in Florida.I was praying i should not see this type of news every day in papers but not happening.

The guilty should be booked and severe punishment should be given.Will President Biden take up this call and save innocent people who stays in US?

Today a sad day for our family My wife was doing Kalakshepam with this great scholar UVE Mannargudi Rajagopalaswamigal for nearly two and half decades passed yesterday night in Chennai I used to see his  his smiling face every week in on line when my wife used to attend Bhagavath 
Visayam and other topicsHe was bestowed with many titles Knowledgable smiling authority in our Srivaishnsvam philosophy is attained his Achariyan feet is a great loss to Srivaishnavas  and others who follow him

Tribute to My Friend Late ORS 663.

 Today i am going to pen another interesting personality not only my close relative but also a good friendlate  OR Sundarrajan shortly known as ORS in our family circle.My association with him for more than 48 years  even since i entered into  my wife's place.He was 4 th son inlaw and i am 5 th son inlaw .Our  friend  ship  is more vibrant  apart  from relation ship was not an exaggerated one.When ever we meet in family functions ,marriages we discuss various topics mainly old Holly Wood movies especially actors viz,Gregory Peck,Sean connary and many others and bolly wood old songs of Rafi ,Kishore and Tamil movies too.He is always pleasant smart dressed person with  attractive smiling face  was more impressed me.Being an Pharma Professional i too fond of dress code.More than this i can not for get his help in 1993 before i depart for the UAE.He received me at Mumbai air port in the late night  and took me to his quarters of Metal Box where he was working.On e full day stay with him was more comfortable with his hospitality and beautiful breakfast and lunch.On 15Oct ober 93 after noon again he dropped me in the airport to see me offfor Dubai still in my memory.In 2019 me and my entire family attended his 80 th function spent happily along with our relatives i still remember.The tragic departure came for him which no one anticipated because of the deadly pandemic.My daughters attached to his children very much.Many times he visited with his family to Bengaluru and we all enjoyed his company.

Man known for his soft nature ,good dress consciousness and above all good humanbeing is no more.Even though he departed his principles of  Manners and dress code will be remembered for ever. His departure is a irrecoverable loss to his Wife son and daughters and grand children. IPray Our Acharyan should give them courage and confidence to get rid of his  departure and peaceful days to continue.Today i am very happy to tribute  this personality  more than a relative a good friend and conversationist.

India’s Continuing  fight

With reference to the report India's Covid-19 case tally passes 25 million (May18): the reality on ground is just horrific. India’s second wave is attacking even the young and there are numerous cases where people have been infected for a second time, showing the unpredicatable nature of the virus. Apart from this crisis, the cyclone hit and state governments have to provide cyclone relief.Till the country makes headway with vaccines, the only tools at our disposal are social distancing and hope.

The recent announcement from the government to monitor drugprices is really a good sign.Many private hospitals are charging more than the prescribed price and many failed to pay because of the exorbident tariff was sad.One hand i applaud majority of the hospitals are doing a good service and maintaining the tariff as per the government order but few are exploiting was sad.People should be care ful and if there is any excess charges found they can inform the authorities as per the latest order.Humanitarian consideration is needed at this crucial hour from hospitals.

Tribute to Old News Readers Trio Neethi Ravindran,Minu and Gitanjali Iyer 662.

 Today i remembered another interesting people from the Door Darshan world the famous trio whom i admire was none other than  news anchorsNeethi Ravindran,Minu  and Gitanjali Iyer.Decades back when  watching  in the Colur T.V i admire the news prepared by Doordarshanand  the rendering anchors  When i was in Mysuru between 1982 to 93 i never miss news programme..Today Media is playing a  vital role but before it was not introduced  Doordarshan anchors are the heroes for their rich voice and presentation.I never miss news time from Doordarshan in the night by these three anchors Neethi,Minu and Gitanjali Iyer.Crisp and beautiful language and presentation will be more visible.I was more facinated on the news reading  since i had an offer decades bach from FTII from Pune  but because of the place posting later i  changed my mind  and  joined  another Sophisticated Field Pharma Indostry.How ever still i enjoyed the old news reading and narration.Apart from this trio so many other news readers have created a big impact.Today Media also talented anchors from various Channels doing a good job.Today i thought of giving tribute to this trio whom i admire in my wonderful Mysuru days.

Decades of Conflict.

 The recent crisis in Jerusalem after Israel’s attack and the casualties and crisis continuing was not only sad but unacceptable one. There should be a probe for this and the real fact should come out which side the fault lies either from Palestinians or Israeli’s. Innocent lives was lost is condemned and not a healthy signDespite warnings signalled by two Arab nations earlier the US Biden administration was ignored and now asking for peace and realize the severity of the crisis. When Israel Palestinians problem will be solved and when Middle East should have peace ? Will Decades of conflict should be over  ? UN and International community must intervene and makethe region stable and peace

 Letter Published in The National UAE on 13 May 21India needs more people like Jitendra ShindeI write to you with regard to Sanket Jain's article India's Covid-19 crisis: rickshaw driver gives free hospital trips to thousands (May 5): it was really touching to read the humanity displayed by the rickshaw driver, Jitendra Shinde. People are afraid of mingling with Covid-19 patients and here he is, taking them to hospital, at his own cost, risking his own health.Mr Shinde has rendered remarkable yeoman services to thousands of passengers, especially Covid-19 patients and their relatives, to take them to hospitals. Such people are rare. His services to humanity in a time like this is remarkable. He too is a front-line worker. And that so far he has not turned away a single passenger is a humbling thought. It makes one grateful for people like him.Very few will have such a social consciousness and voluntarily come forward to help. He is one one such and a thousand kudos to people like him.  Today i am going to pen another interesting film personality from the South Indian Film Industry is none other than EDitor Don Max.Tamil,Telugu .and Malayalam he hasworked and created a good impact .Initially he was concentrating on Animation and later become an independent Editor.He has worked with all the leading actors and Director of both Malayalam and Tamil is appreciable.Actors Viz Suresh Gopi,Surya,Vijay Late Vivek,,Prasanth and many others in Tamil.In his one and half decadess film career he has given more than Fifty Films of both Tamil and Malayalam.Good Editing  will be visible in his creations.I have seen few Tamilmovies of this Editor.Those films Kuruvi,Aadhavan,Jilla,Mambattiyan, Sura,SankaranKovil and few i have forgotten.In his short span of 16films he has established very well is laudable.Today i am very happy to tribute this talented Editor.

The authorities must investigate the real cause and make sure this never happens again. Whoever is guilty should be punished. Human lives won’t come back, whatever compensation is given to grieving families. However, I applaud the minister's resignation on moral grounds.K Ragavan, Bengaluru, India

On going Crisis.

 The recent second attack made India Casualties and shortage of vaccines. Despite India has capable of handling it's people with two vaccines but the number of cases are surging very fast as India is a vast country and the population is more, the Government was unable to tackle the situation fully because of a shortage of vaccines and Oxygen cylinders which is not correlated to the cases.One should not criticise for not available of vaccines.Which ever government handle the situation we have to face this unavoidable circumstances.As India has very good rapport with the International Community vaccines are arriving from different destinations.Following the norms,avoiding out side unnecessarily andabove all Prayers are the only solution for peace and Tranquility to minds.Certainly coming days will be tough as per experts opinion still we can manage and go.

 Today i remembered another interesting personality from the Tamil Literary World is none other than Writer,Director Kovi Mani sekaran.Known for his Brilliant creative works of Plays,Novels,especially Historical.I have read two three short stories ,and one historical novel i could n't recollect the name.The language ,description .and  facts are nice.He was also associated with Late Director K.Balachandar and Directed Two movies,Kutrala Kurinji was very popular in those days.He was Bestowed Sahitya Academy Award  is worth to mention here.More than Five decades his creations are published and he is the onre author continue his journey.Karnataka Government was also awarded for this writer.He is one of the living Legend Liked by one and all.Even though he has many achievements  and already known every one i have written today just for my satisfaction to register him in my blogs.Today i am very happy to tribute this Great Legend created a big impact in the Tamil Literary World.

Kudos to DC Skipper Pant and his men.

 IPL T20 29 th match between DC and PBKS Played at Ahmedabad DC Won the toss and chose to bowl.PBKS started their innings and lost 1 wicket of PSingh.16,Dawid Malaan 26,Mayank Agarwal unbeaten 99 was the highest score made PBKS to  166 for 6wickets.Magnificent Knock by Mayank Agarwal.Later DC started the batting.Openers Shaw39 Dhawan69 and Smith 24  made quick runs and make theDC to win was amazing.Loosing only three wickets they hit 167 in 17 overs isalso good.With this win DC is leading with Six victory is laudable.DC is consistant and always give tough fight and aim for the target.Kudos to DC Skipper Pant and his men.

SRH started their innings with openers Jonny Bairstow 30 was out and later Manish Pandey 31 Williamson 20and others made to 165 for 8 RR won the match .SRH completely failed in batting with stalwarts Jonny Manish Pandey However it was interesting Kudos to RR skipper Sanju Samson and his men

 IPLT20 27th match between CSK and MI played at Delhi MI won the toss and chose to bowl.Du Plessis 50 Moeen Ali58 Rayudu 72 Jadeja 22 and others made the score to218 for 4Wickets which is more comfortable for CSK.CSK batsmen done a wonderful jobMI started their innings with De Kock 38,Rohit 35 started well with hitting and later Krunal Pandya34 and Pollard's magnidficient knock 87 made MI victory over 4Wickets was amazing.It was a wonderful match to watch on the T.V.Pollard is the main  man for MI Victory.Kudos to MISkipper Rohit and his men.
