 Today i am going to pen another interesting film personality from the South Indian Film Industry is none other than actor ,Director Nassar.He had his acting training in two schools and Tamilnadu Institute of  Filmand Television Technology institute is important.He started his acting career three and half decades back with late Director K.Balachander's movie and later he acted with all the top class Directors movies is worth to be mentioned here.Mostly he was known for his negative rolls and later become a versatile actor is laudable.He was more associated with Director Mani Ratnam ,and Kamal Hasan's movies.Apart from Tamil he acted in Telugu,Kannada,Hindi and if i am right in Malayalam also .He made as a Director in Avatharam  was applauded by people.Person liked by one and all from the film fraternity and holding office position as President  in Nadigar sangam.He acted many films in his career .Few films i can always remember.Those films are,Nayagan,AvvaiShanmugi,Thevar Magan,Bombay,Lagaan (Hindi),Under World (Kannada)and few films i could n't recollect.His action ,dialoque delivery will be very nice. Incidently he hails from Chingleput where the popular late Director C.V.Sridhar also studied with his friend Gopu.Today i am very happy to tribute this Versatile Legend who  has his own image in the film industry.

A lack of accountability, and perhaps even corruption, at municipal level needs to be tackled. Sad state of affairs.

 Recent building collapses in Indian state Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh was sad and painful to read in the news headlines.Lacjk of periodical monitoring of the buildings and by passing the rules may be the attributing factors for this.Authorities should inspect the buildings and if there are lapses should not be encourages.More than the damage and loss human lives loss can not be compensated.This issue should be addressed with out further delay.Sad state of affairs indeed.

Tribute to My friend SP.Srinivasan 624.

 It was a shocking news not only to me but also the entire family about the demise of my good old friend SP .Srinivasan popularly known as SPS in the family Crcle.Iknow this friendly person even before seeing his sister my wife for nearlyfifty eight years  is really amazing to me.When ever i meet we both will discuss in general and all others welfare is important.My three daughters are more attached to him as their favorite Uncle and he too .When i visited last year  August if i remember along with my grand son Shashank for American embassy interview we stayed there and the hospitality bestowed by him and his children still in my memory.He is the fatherly person to his family siblings and one of the respectable member in his relative circle especially in his Uncle's family members.Even though he departed from us his soft spoken friendly nature with hospitality always remembered by us.Others lost their relative but i lost not only a good friend but also respectable brother in law.He is not only a good banker but also a good fund managing person with his foresight and vision..However he is going to attain a wonderful  place by Acharyan's anoograham and  Lord's blessings.Only his body left us but his characteristic personality is still with us.I miss my good old friend who has seen my ups and down in my life and i am very much reluctantly delete his id in my contacts as i have been sending my writings every day till 23Morning andhe is one  of my admirer like my way of writngs..I Pray for him and Let God give courage to his wife  ,Children and grand children.

Irepeat once again missing my good old friend. also a cricket lover.

Dubai-India: Prayers and condolences to those affected during the tragic plane accident

Many lives have been taken away, and many injured due to the unfortunate accident of the Air India express flight in Kerala's Kozhikode airport. (“Who were the pilots, passengers who died in Air India Express crash?”, Gulf News, August 10). It was tragic and disturbing. Officials said the runway is on a hilltop with gorges on either side, which increases chances of casualties if the plane overshoots the runway. The accident is similar to the Mangalore air tragedy when an Air India Express flight from Dubai crashed while landing at Mangalore International Airport on May 22, 2010, that killed 158 lives. Most of the passengers must have been eagerly waiting to go to their home since many of them lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I pray for the victims, and wish the injured a speedy recovery.

Indian Premier League: Excitement alive amid COVID-19

I cannot wait to watch the Indian Premier League (IPL) T20 that is about to start sooner (“IPL 2020: Chennai Super Kings gets into the ‘Habibi’ mode”, Gulf News, August 04). The preparations are in full swing for the 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) which will be held in the United Arab Emirates from September 19 to November 8, and millions of people are excited about the match. However, this season of the IPL is going to be very different from previous seasons because of the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

One of the major concerns for us is whether fans will be allowed to attend the matches in the UAE or not. However, the Emirates Cricket Board has said that it is eager to fill up 30-50 per cent of the stadiums with spectators when the Indian Premier League is held in the UAE. We hope by September the pandemic will fade, and cricket fans will enjoy not only the match but also the UAE from malls to desert safari.
