Children were playing in our building compound, while seniors were discussing day-to-day issues. Suddenly, my grandson called me from behind and showed a pigeon lying dead on the ground.
“When I was going to school in the morning, this pigeon was alive and playing.
How come now it is dead?” he asked, visibly upset.
Life is uncertain for any living creature. Why not people live in peace with each other, I wondered!
After all, life is short and we can make it sweet with compassion.
