I still remember of sitting in the window seat in the Steam engine train and getting smoke and the eyes get irritation was not only worst experience but was funny. Going with all family members and siblings for short trip was an adventurous. When I was inMadurai always take Vaigai express to Chennai where my parents was located on holidays when I was staying as a bachelor in Madurai Later the dramatic change over Loco engines and I still remember from Madurai to Villupuram loco engines will go .From Villupuram the new Electric engine will be attached reach Chennai despite 45 minutes late arrival to Villupuram.This I always admire the speed and how the time was adjusted only for the possibility of Electric engine.Earlier making reservations was tough and go to Railway stations stand in the lengthy queue was now averted by the fast IT technology reserving your ticket for any destination any ware in India and abroad.Despite the mode of travel has changed in many areas and people enjoying the travel still at times seat won’t be available either increase in travelers or travel has become a must. However from steam engine period to Modern aminities travel mode has changed should be laudable.
