Her husband was employed at a bank. During the visit, Janaki noticed Sanjay’s composed demeanor and found him to be an ideal match — and a thought sparked in her mind. Janaki had a niece, Nandhini, the daughter of her sister-in-law Radhika, who worked in the U.S. Janaki’s only son was married, so she had been thinking of finding a good match for Nandhini. Sanjay seemed perfect. Janaki knew that Radhika and her husband were looking for a groom from the U.S. for their daughter. At 4 PM, the young man arrived with his parents in a taxi. Janaki, who had briefly stepped into the restroom, came out a few minutes later and was utterly shocked — the boy was none other than Sanjay, sitting beside her friend Archana.
