After three fatal accidents involving the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) drivers in the past two days, BMTC has decided to conduct a thorough check on the brakes of all its 6,600 buses in 15 days, says K Ragavan. It's a good step finally. After a few recent accidents, BMTC authorities woke up to check the brake in the buses to avoid accidents in future. Brake is one of the most important aspects and drivers should not drive rashly in city limits. Also drivers must undergo liqour tests. Such precautionary measures can curtail accidents
