K Ragavan writes, with reference to the case against former finance minister P. Chidambaram’s, the long speculated case involving P Chidambaram and INX Media came to an end after the High court’s rejection of the case and also ordering no anticipatory bail became the latest, dramatic development in Indian Politics. However, there have been mixed reactions on the judgment and many have agreed that this is a neutral verdict from the judges at the High Court. Except for Congress, which is hell bent on proving everything is vendetta politics, everyone agrees this was a fair verdict and corruption will be dealt only with severity. Now, Chidambaram has decided to go to the apex court.
