A friend was mentioning that sexual assault and rape cases have overtaken fraud and corruption news in Indian newspapers. Mahatma Gandhi had said long ago that real freedom is when a woman walks safely at midnight. It seems that his dream continues to remain a dream. Strict rules have not brought enough relief for women as yet.

The editorial Important steps towards reform of education (December 5) was thought-provoking.

The Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid, has called on every citizen of the UAE to come forward to join a brainstorming session on health and education reforms.

These are two major issues and I have no doubt this endeavour will be successful.

EXPENSIVE DECISION
Signing the del with US City of Sanfrancisco may help to deal with waste management issues.But it will be under heavy price.Already BBMP has spent more money and time. This issue should be dealtwith in our reach.We have talented advisers,and consultants to deal with this burning issue and with much lesser expenditure.US advice will be more expensive for our budget.The Tax payers money will be spent for this.

A major landmark in the UAE’s success has been set recently when Dubai won the bid to host the prestigious Expo 2020.

This achievement has given more prominence than ever to the UAE on the global map. By continuously striving for social and economic development, the UAE has set an example for others in the region and beyond. No wonder it commands so much respect from the international community.

I would seize this opportunity to mention that I have spent 16 years of my life in Dubai, for which I feel proud. Kudos to Dubai and the UAE.

Raj.All are fine.Today night i will be sending some sensational news of the latest development  and behaviour  of the former editor of a Magazine.Hope you might have read it in the paper.

Ram.Yes,i was shocked  to see his arrest  in the Indian Channals.Journalists  should not behave like this.They are the people bringing truth to the society and fight for  Corruption and Sex related crimes which is increasing  day by day.

Raj.You are right.Being a journalist i was shocked to see him in the T.V. He has done wonderful jobs earlier but all vanished because of his recent behaviour with his younger woman colleague.

Tribute to Cinematographer NatarajanSubramaniam 275.

Today i remembered another Versatile film personality from South Indian film Industry who has done wonderful work both in Tamil film as well Bolly wood films is none other than Cinemato grapher Natarajan Subramaniam.Known for his  good work in more then 1500, ad films later entered in to Filmindustry as a successful Cinemato grapher.He has worked with top class actors and,directors of both tamil film and Bollywood is important.In his Twelve year film career he has created his own identity is worth to be mentioned here.Good  indoor as well out door shots are his Speciality.He has done nearly  twenty films and all are remarkable.I have seen few films of this Stalwart.Those films are Youth (Tamil),
Gol Maal returns,Knock out,JabWeMet,PariNeeta, and LoveAaj kal(Hindi) Incidently he  hails from Paramakudi , one of the famous place created few talented actors including the great Kamal Hassan.
Today Tamil film  Cinematographers are doing a WonderfuL Job  in the  BollyWood industry  gives me more happiness.Today i am happy to tribute this Versatile Cinematographer.

The report, 2 5 0 ‘h o u s e a r r e s t e d’ b y B W S S B T r e n c h(BM, Dec 1), is an interesting read. Residents of 16th Cross, JP Nagar, could nottaketheirvehiclesout.Itissad.BWSSB started digging and then left the work incomplete. It is completely unjustifiable. Due to their irresponsibility many residents are stuck in their houses. The authorities concerned should look into this issue and sort it out immediately.
