Mango mania Article Published in The Gulf Today,Uae on 4.June11.(202ndweek.).
When a friend entered with a basket of mangoes, I was thrilled. He placed it on the table and declared: “This is not for you, but for your grandchildren.”
I wish the guy had not reminded me of my age. After all, I love the king of fruits.

Web Site Comment in The Hindu,India .Your Editorial was good to read.In the past two years, UPA 2 has achieved only Scams ,Scandals and Corruption allegations .Among all the Political Parties our long standing (only for the name sake)Congress Party is known for its corruption attitude which has been proved in the recent Giant Episodes. Basically none of the politician has got the interest to develop the country, particularly the common man's status. Earlier Raja was telling that he is innocent, but his innocence was not accepted by the CBI.Maran is also telling the same thing after 50 hours. Will his innocence be proved? All these days people are mum, and today they wake up. Singh's administration should explain to the People of India.

BETTER GOVERNANCE
2 June 2011 Letter Published in Khaleejtimes.Uae.
Your article, ‘Politicians want green signal to change names’ (KT, June 1), was good to read. In India whichever political parties comes to power immediately changes the old names of the important places such as airports, railway station names and street names.
The recent proposal for name change of famous Dadar Railway junction was nothing but vote bank politics. Instead of changing the names, why do they not give better services which will help the common man.
