Your story about the tragic floods in the Philippines ( UAE Filipinos to aid floor victims, August 9) was sad and painful to read.
I applaud the help being given to the victims by UAE residents.

A few days ago, a friend of mine called me to find out my reason for not joining him for the regular morning walk. After explaining the cause for my absence, he commented: What you are doing is indeed anyday better than walking.
The reason I could not indulge in the daily morning exercise for the past few days was my aged mother was indisposed and I had to care for her.
The same evening I received the call from this friend, who came to see my mother. While leaving my home, he nodded in appreciation. “Serving parents is the most beautiful thing in the world.”

The Staff took the Coat of Ram and left.By that time Kathambari entered
Ram,let us go for the breakfast .The Meeting starts at 10-30 AM.The Venue is about15
Minitues drive from here.
Ram.Fine,They came to the Dining hall The Dining hall was fully packed.Most of the Visitors from Spain,Greece,Italy and UAE.
Kathambari ordered for Bread toast and Jam.Ram,Here you do n;t get Vegetarian food of our taste. Today and tomorrow we are provided Lunch from the Host.Pure Vegetarian of Chennai.The Catererfrom Chennai.
Ram.Oh,i see.We are lucky.Even Veg is not available i can manage with Bread and fruits.
After finishing the Break fast Kathambari and Ram took a cab reached the Venue place.It was a Beautiful Hall fully furnished.Ram and Kathambari took their seats.
The Meeting started at the prescribed time 10-30.a.m.
Ram gave his speech for more then forty five minitues.The Entire Audience was thrilled of his Language and presentation.How Media plays an Important roll today.
Ram answered many questions of the audience mostly from UK and France.
In the Lunch hour Many came and took autograph from Ram.Ram enjoyed the delicious typical Chennai food.His favourite SweetMysore pak and Kesari was there.
Kathambari was very happy that her purpose of introducing Ram to this Elite Audience was fruitful.
All were representing Big Multi national Channels as well Media and Communication companies.Evening the meeting was over at 5.p.m.While coming Kathambari
Ram,have you left your coat in the hall.
Ram.No.I did n't wear.The coat i have given it for washing.
Kathambari.Idid 't notice while Coming.Ithought you are wearing.My congratulations for your Wonderful speech and inter action with the People.

Today i am going to pen another interesting personality from tamil film industry is none other than Director A.L.Vijay.In his half decade film career he has created a big impact is true.Started his career with Advertisement movies then turned in to film directing.He has few hand ful of films which made a big applause from the cine fans is worth to be mentioned here.Today's top class actors Ajit, Vikram,Arya,and Karthik is worked with him. He was nominated for the Best Director award for Vijay and Film fare is important.Madarasa Patinam was a Beautiful film by him shown the old Madras with Nirav Shah's beautiful Cinematography.I have seen few films of this Director.Those films are Madarasapatinam,Deiva thirumagal,and Kireedom. Still i remember ,Vamma Durai amma song from Madarasapatinam.He is one of the talented ,Creative technician bestowed by Film industry.Vikram got award for best actor from Film fare for Deiva thirumagal of this Director is worth to be mentioned here.To day i am happy to tribute this talented Up coming Director.

Sad turnaround Article Published in The Gulf Today Uae on 4Aug 12(262).
A friend of mine who got acquainted with my native place through a well-known travel site wanted to pay me a visit. I was happy in anticipation of being able to receive him at my place within the next couple of days. However, a sudden call from him announced that he was postponing his visit — the reason being his city had been rocked by four serial bomb blasts. His family members were not keen on allowing him to travel.
I was disappointed that a sad incident as the one that had hurt many people and had, therefore, instilled fear in many minds had prevented two friends from meeting each other.

Letter.
Blast brings back bad memories Letter Published in The National ,Uae on Aug 3 012.
It was sad to read Series of blasts rock city centre (August 2), and it made me think back to the 2010 attack on the Germany bakery in Pune, when 17 people were killed.
Whether this attack is due to terrorism is not yet proven, but the fact that the explosions took place on a busy road is important.
At least, only one person was injured.
It is painful to think that, despite the earlier incident, there has been no increase in safety measures from the government.
