The Gulf News story about how Mauritius designated their first woman president was great news, indeed (‘Mauritius designates first woman president’, Gulf News, June 4). The 56-year-old Ameenah Gurib-Fakim is the first woman president there and the fact that she is a renowned biologist is important. With her induction, Mauritius will go further forward and set an example in the region.

Tribute to Cinematographer R.D.Rajasekhar 354.

Today i remembered another interesting film personality from the  Tamil film industry is none other than Cine matographer R.D.Rajasekhar.In his Fifteen years film career he has given many remarkable films.He has worked with Popular Directors viz, Gautam Menon,A.R.Murugadoss,Lingusamy and  others.Known for his beautiful shots both indoor and out door.He has contributed more than twenty five films in Tamil,Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi..I have seen many films of this Cinematographer.Those films are,Minnale,Red,KaakhaKaakha,Manmadhan,Ghajini,Bheema,Kaalai,Sathyam,Vedi,Billa11,
and Arima Nambi.Thotti Jaya.Among the films i like his remarkable Craftsmanship in  Arima Nambi,Ghajini,Vedi,Billa 11,and Sathyam.One of the few talented technicians in the industry respected by the film fraternity.Today i am very happy to tribute this talented Cinematographer.

Bag secret

After my retirement, I generally carry a bag with a water bottle and an umbrella during my walking sessions as well as shopping. By virtue of my pharmaceutical background, I do not feel odd about this habit, because I used to carry my professional bag with samples to meet doctors. 

A few days ago, a friend asked me why I always carried the bag! I replied that it contained water and umbrella. He suggested that I should drop the habit, as the bag was heavy and an unnecessary burden for a retired man.

Before I could reply to him, nature answered. There was a sudden downpour and when everyone ran around towards the shade, I opened my umbrella and suggested that my friend join me to avoid getting wet. His smile reflected his feelings.

The Gulf News story on India ‘suit boot’ being more acceptable than ‘suitcase’ was an interesting read (‘‘Suit boot’ is more acceptable than ‘suitcase’: PM’, Gulf News, May 31). As Prime Minister Narendra Modi rightly said that even with what the Congress party has done to the poor and the farmers, they are now criticising the land bill. He has also expressed that he is prepared to change the ordinance and that is not a matter of life and death to him. I hope a new bill will be presented shortly for approval.

Ram.It may cost 25,000 Rs roughly for Visa and fare.You can stay with me.Only you  have to spend for your Purchases.

After that Ram saw the  News.Shocked about the Students strike in the Prestigious Madras IIT.

Ram, i am watching  the News.Shocked  the IIT  Episode..
Ram.I am also watching this.Such a reputed and prestigious institute's name  now spoiled.
Murthy.We do n't know the inner story.What ever be the cause thisis very sad.
Ram.Students are the  future leaders of  any Nation ,but there is a limit for protesting.I do agree freedom of speech and expression should be respected. Why this Club has banned we do n't know.Government only knows.Very sad state of affairs.On the one side Modi wants to make India a great nation ,but on the other side  Strikes,hate speeches and Political  opposition allegations.
Murthy.Hope he will win and over come thepresent crisis.

The Gulf News story on Singh saying that scams during his time are a non-issue was an interesting read. Everyone knows about his integrity and straightforward nature, including the opposition party at the time, the BJP. Whatever causes he has attributed for his honesty, Singh was the prime minister of India and he is responsible for how his ministers act. During his tenure, the Commonwealth Games scam, the 2G scam and the coal allocation scam was revealed and some ministers went to jail. His reply to the allegations made by the opposition was not appropriate and he completely ignored the corruption and scams. It’s the same way Modi is responsible for how his ministers act. One has to accept the reality.

Tribute to Cinematographer Shakthi 353.

Today i remembered another Interesting film personality from the Tamil film Industry is none other than Cinematographer Shakthi.Started his  training  with ace Cinematographer Jeeva in his earlier films like Run,12B Later became independent.Even though he has few films to his credit  he earned a good name from the Industry is important.In his Six years film career he has worked with Up coming actors like Atharva and ,Johny Amala Paul was also worked  with him.Good Cinematography both in Indoor and Out door will be visible in his movies.I have seen Renigunta,and Muppoluthum Un karpanaigal from this Cinematographer.He has Couple of films  to be released shortly.Today i am happy to tribute this talented Up coming Cinematographer.He will have good future since he started his Career with Stalwart Cinematographer  Jeeva.
