Clash of Personalities
Prabhu Chawla's Power &Politics (TNSE June14)was an interesting read.Earlier,political parties used to fight for their ideologies and principles, butit has now been replaced by a fight between personalities.The BJP should play its cards closely in Bihar and not be over confident unlike in Delhi earlier this year.It is up to the people to pick between leaders of Pataliputra and Indraprastha as we wait and see.

Tribute to Writer Sundaram (Aadhavan ) 355.

Today i am going to  pen another   Versatile Writer from the tamil literary world is none other than Sundaram popularly known as Aadhavan.He was born in the famous  place kallidaikurichi ,tirunelveli district.Had his education in Delhi  and  joined  Indian railways later  Joined National book trust of India as an assistant editor.He started contributing short stories for children  in the magazine Kannan in his earlier career.His most noted work novel En Peyar Ramaseshan was translated in Russian language  is worth to be mentioned here.He was bestowed SahityaAkademi Award for his short stories collection Mudalil Iravu Varum.Known for his writeups in short stories ,novels and plays.I read two of this writer's stories.Those stories are  Kaagitha Malargal and Kanagathin Naduvae.Few short stories i could n't remember.In his four and half decades career he has given remarkable,and memorable stories and novels which no one can deny.Puluthil Veenai Was his popular play welcomed by the tamil fans.Even though he is departed from us his  Wonderful creations are in front of usToday i am very happy to tribute this famous writer.

I agree with the Gulf News story on Turkey’s ruling party losing a majority being a blow for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan (‘Erdogan must be more inclusive in his approach’, Gulf News, June 9). For more than a decade, Erdogan was dominating in Turkish politics. The results were a great blow for his political ambitions, particularly for his presidential ambitions. Will the newly elected party deliver better than Erdogan? We have to wait and see!

The other day, I was watching television at home in India when someone rang the doorbell. It was a young man who introduced himself as a close friend’s grandson. He informed that he had got a job in a Dubai private company and wanted some references for guidance. Anything about the UAE thrills me as I had worked there for several years and adore the country. I happily gave some names and told him something that made him smile. “If it is the UAE you are going to for a job, you have chosen the best place.”

Power &Politics (TNSE June 7) was meaningful.In the three years of his tenure so far, president Pranab Mukerjee's Visits overseas indicate a bid to promote Indian pride,business and academia.The author has nicely elaborated on his purpose of visits and complimented the President for his efforts to make India a super power.

Next day Morning Ram received a call from Vasanthy
Good Morning Ram.How are you.
Ram.I am fine,how are you.
Vasanthy.I am also fine.Why i called you this hour  why not we meet in Karama today evening.
Ram. I  have to check up.Murthy has come from iNDIA.
Vasanthy.Yes,i know that.Try if possible we can meet .
Ram.I will try and call you in the after noon.
Vasanthy.O.K.Will be waiting for your call.I want to see you,missing you for long time.
Ram.Me too,I will call you,bye
Afterthat Ram was ready to go to office waiting for Driver Ali.
Exactly at 8-30.A.M. Ali came .
While going Ali was telling,
Sir,there is a small accident in the Shaick Zayed road,i will go in a different route .
Ram.It will take how much time extra.
Ali.May be Half an hour.
Ram.O.K.
Then Ram Called Atkinson
Good Morning Mr Atkinson, i will be coming to office little late.There is a small accident  on our way.Ali is taking a diversion.
Atkinson.O.K.Ram.You need not have informed this.
Ram. ,  i want to inform you.
Atkinson.Thank you.I will also deviate  my route.
After that Ram was thinking about Vasanthy's call.  why she called in the morning .He was also thinking of meeting her.
After reaching the office he checked his evening Programme but  no important programme was there.
After finishing his Lunch he called Vasanthy
Hello,Evening what time  we can meet.Where.
Vasanthy.We  shall meet in Karama  station.
Ram.O.K.i Will be there at 5.P.M
Vasanthy.I will be there at 5P.M.
Then Ram was busy with his work.
Evening he reached Karama station .tILL 5-15 Vasanthy has not come.He was thinking on the way she might have held up in trafficTill 6p.m She has not turned up
By that time he received a call from Vasanthy.
Ram,I am in Rasheed hospital-----Ram was  about to ask what happened to her but phone was dis connected
