Today i am going to pen another interesting film personality from Bolly Wood Film Industry is none other than Director MehulKumar.In his four decades film career he has produced and Directed many remarkable films with  leading actors and Directors both in Hindi and Gujarati languages.His films are fast ,action oriented with powerful dialoques.Pleasing Cinematography ,both indoor and out door will be more visible in his movies.Russi Billimoria,was the Cinematographer for many of his films. I have seen fewfilms of this Director.Those films areMarte Dam Tak,Jung Baaz,Paap Ki Aandhi,Tirangaa,KrantiVeer,Lahu Ke Do Rang,Kohram,and Mritudatta.Lahu Ke Do Rang was  with top class actors Nasruddin Shah,Akshay Kumar,Suresh Oberoiand others made a good name for this Director.Today i am happy to Tribute this Stalwart.

The violence that has erupted in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka over the Cauvery issue is very unfortunate.Both chief Ministers should protect innocent civilians from violent mobs.

Mobile phones will certainly distract students in school. Even though access to useful information has its benefits, the fact is that the temptation of spending more time with mobile phones is inevitable. In my opinion, until a child reaches a certain age, he/she shouldn’t own a phone. No doubt, smartphones are very useful in today’s age, for communicating and other important aspects, but schoolchildren should only be allowed to have them after a certain age.

Double joy

I recently met an old friend at a function in my city. He was very happy to see me after 12 years. We discussed our UAE days where he had spent ten years.

Once he lost his purse at a mall in Dubai after paying the bill through his credit card. When we reached a nearby restaurant, he realised that his wallet was missing. I immediately suggested that we rush back to that mall. 

We met the counter cashier who politely and instantly took the wallet from the counter and gave it to my friend after verifying his ID.

My friend asked me how I was sure my wallet would be in the mall. I told him the UAE people had a very good reputation for honesty.

We recalled the wallet incident and he stated that he kept the wallet safe until today. 

I felt double joy, one over meeting him and the other that we could fondly recollect our days in the UAE, a place I love most.

Justice Dhingra Commission’s reports on illegal land dealings in the Indian state of Haryana by the then-Congress government led by Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda, is a new controversy in Indian politics (‘Dhingra panel report on Gurgaon land deals points out irregularities’, Gulf News September 1). The findings of the dealings that favoured Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s son -in-law Robert Vadra has been spun as criticism in a personal vendetta against him by the present National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government. Blaming each other is common in politics and with this report, will the Indian government take action against Vadra?

When Will the Valley find peace?
Even though curfew has been lifted in Srinagar,the fact that the death toll has risen to 72 is worrying..The government should be prepared for any eventuality and ensure the safety of innocent civilians.When will Jammu and Kashmir become peaceful again?When can Kashmiris return to their normal lives?Will the all party meeting have any impact at all?
