A few days ago, I was beside myself with joy on receiving a message from my bank informing me that my credit card number had been selected for a prize. Lucky me!
A few days later, the keenly-awaited bonanza arrived by courier. Since it was a beautiful branded sports bag from a reputed firm, I decided to give it to my grandson, who I was sure — because of his youth — would be simply thrilled to own such a “prized possession.”
When I told him over the phone, he couldn’t conceal his happiness, which made me smile. When you see the happiness of your grandchildren, you end up being happier. And, it’s that happiness than money can never buy.

Remembering a great astronaut

The death at 82 of Apollo 11 astronaut Neil Armstrong was a great loss to the world in the field of space exploration.
He was the first man to land on the Moon, and that created a revolution five decades ago. I salute the departed astronaut; the world will remember him forever.

They took a Cab .While going Kathambari was asking Ram

Ram.Of course.I am fully enjoying this beautiful city. Meeting was nice.

By that time they reached the Venue hall.About two hundred delegates were already arrived..Some people wishing Ram .Few have come for his autograph. Ram simply refused

Kathambari also compelled Ram.Ram forced to sign for twelve people.
Dinner was delicious and Ram enjoyed all the sweets served.
After the Dinner they spent few minitues with the delegates then left to their place.
While going Ram was telling,Kathambari today is a Memorable day for me.

Friendships stand the test of time — and distance.
One fine evening last week, while I was at home in my native place, I received a couple of phone calls from old friends who had arrived from the UAE on vacation to India.
Since they too were holidaying at my native place, and wished to visit me and my family, they wanted to know whether I would be in my hometown or away in Bangalore, where I make frequent visits to see my children, who are settled there.
I told them I would be very much in my hometown and that I would be happy to host them at my home any time.
Both are residing in Sharjah which was my second home for many years. It warmed the cockles of my heart that even after my departure from the cultural haven that Sharjah was and is, they remember me so fondly. I was ever so happy to relive the old memories.
I have made numerous friends during my long years in Sharjah, all of whom make me proud of the UAE connection established in various sectors - in journalism, and so many other walks of life.

Life is Beautiful 126.
Ram.Kathambari,this is your mummy,congratulating me for today's meeting.
Kathambari.I see, i told Mum about our today's Beautiful meeting.
Ram.Thank you.Ever since i met you in My sore J.C.Eng College my life is going very beautifully I should thank you for that.
Kathambari.For me also the same feelings.Ram
Evening we are going for the dinner arranged by our host.At 8P.M.I will come.Now i have to meet a friend .Take care,See you later.
After she left Ram wanted to check his Mails in his Lap top.
Couple of Letters from Murthy, Raj and Prasanna asking when he is expected to India.
Ram too miss them.Since this is the first Occasion he was away For more then 30 days from his place.Murthy was mentioning Tomy was very helpful in guarding his house Ram left Tomy to Murthy's custody. Murthy has mentioned in the mail .Tomy too miss his boss.
Ram replied the mails that shortly he will be coming to India.
By that time the room staff came with his Coat.
Sir,This is your coat apart from the morning mistake another mistake happened.
Ram.What is that .
Staff. Idid n't see the pockets.In one pocket one Envelop was drinched when i put it in the water.The cover was completely spoiled.If you tell this to our Hotel i will loose my job.I am from North India. i have my old mother and sister to take care.Kindly pardon me sir.and started crying.
Ram.Do n't cry.I wo n't tell to the Hotel.Where is the envelop.
Staff.Sir ,in the water that has complety spoiled.Here is the envelop.
Ram saw the cover.No pages are visible.He could not read a single word.
O.K. In future be careful in checking the personal belongings of the visitors.
