The death of the actor Robin Williams was shocking. He created a big impact through the films such as Mrs Doubtfire and Aladdin. The characters he portrayed in these films are unforgettable. His death is a great loss to the film industry. I pray that his soul rests in peace.

Tribute to Cinematographer Manoj Soni 311.

Today i am going to write another  interesting film personality from Bollywood film industry is none other than Cinematographer ManojSoni.He has worked with all the Leading actors Viz,RishiKapoor, Akshaya Kumar,John Abraham,and Directors Like Sajid Khan  and Others.Good neat shots both  indoor as well out door will be more visible in his movies.Even though he has more than Dozen films to his credit i have seen few films of this Cinematographer.Those films are,Karzz,House ful 2,Fareeb 2005,Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena,Na Tum JaanoNa Hum ,and Janat2008  He was associated with Director SajidKhan for many of his films.Today i am happy to tribute this  talented up  Coming Cinematographer.

Bliss of nature


Last week I visited California from Denver. Usually the weather is hot, but to my good luck, the weather was very pleasant. I visited the famous Golden Gate bridge and was thrilled to see one of the greatest constructions of mankind. The Golden Gate bridge is the main and  famous tourist attraction in San Francisco. There is another famous place like the  Muir Woods US National Monument Park. It is an amazing place. The park which caters to pedestrians has superb biodiversity. Trees are preserved, natural habitat is very well maintained. It has some spectacular scenes to watch and beautiful pathways inside the forest like park. Other attractions are Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf.

I also visited the famous vineyard of San Francisco. I had many memorable drives along the city. It was one of the best trips I had. The trip was even better when I met one of my old friends and we shared our old business memories back in those days. The trip was so soothing. What more do you need when you have such wonderful places on this planet? And yet we humans fight for little things and pollute the nature.

Prasanna took the phone.Ram was on the other line.
Prasanna ,how are you.
Prasanna.I am fine sir,How are you.
Ram.I am fine. Today evening are you free.
Prasanna.Yes,
Ram.I want to see the movie Two States.Kathambari told me it was a good movie in the recent.
Would you like to join with me.
Prasanna.Certainly.Which place.
Ram.Lamcy Plaza.Shall i come and pick you.
Prasanna.No ,sir.I got a direct bus . Which show you want to go.
Ram.Better ,3-30.P.M Will be ideal.Tomorrow we have to go to Kathambari's place for Satyanarayana Pooja.
Prasanna.Right Sir.This is ideal .I will be there at 3.0P.M.
Ram. I will see you there.
Prasanna kept the phone.He was thinking what a Coincidence, i too wanted to see this movie
I am happy i am going with Ram.
Exactly at 3P.M. He reached the  Theater.He bought two tickets .
After five minitues Ram came.
Sorry Prasanna,I was late by  five minitues.
Prasanna.No ,Problem Sir,Come let us go.
Lamzy Plaza Complex theater  was  a beautiful one .Good Sound System.
After the  movie Ram and Prasanna came to Venus Restaurant in Karama for Dinner.
When they entered the hotel Prasanna saw Chander was  sitting inside.
Chander.Hello Prasanna,pleasant surprise.
Prasanna.Yes,How about you
Chander.How are you  Mr Ram.
Ram .I am fine.How is your Job.
Chander.Fine Sir,I am enjoying my job.I got a good boss.
Prasanna.No,Chander.I am trained by this boss He Showed  Ram.
Ram.I am  not Boss.Our big boss is God .
After finishing the Dinner Ram left the place reached home.Prasanna also reached his place.

Tribute to Cinematographer M.S.Prabhu 310.

Today i am going to pen another interesting film personality from the South Indian film industry is none other than Cinematographer M.S.Prabhu.Known for his remarkable work in Tamil and Hindi films.Started his career with Stalwart P.C.SreeRam  and later became an independent Cinematographer.Even though he has Lot of films to his credit i have seen few of this Cinematographer's movies.Those movies are Bulandi,Ekk Deewana tha (Hindi)Thavamai Thavamirunthu,Ayan,Pirivom Santhipom,Nee thane En POn Vasantham,Sura,Koodal Nagar and Mahanadi (Tamil)..He has worked with all the leading Directors and Popular actors Like KamalHassan,Prabhu,Vijay ,and many others.One  of the talented Cinematographers who  liked by  the film fraternity.Good shots both in Indoor and Out Door are visible in his frame Work.Today i am happy to tribute this  talented Cinematographer.

Tune bonds

I attended an Indian festival at a downtown area in Denver last week. It was colourful and participants sang popular Bollywood songs. There were attendees from all age groups. It was interesting to watch local people dance along with the music. I realised that Bollywood actors are popular in the US just like they are in the UAE. It is true that music has the ability to break borders and enhance integration among various cultures.
