Recently, a good friend of mine from the UAE sent me an invitation to attend her daughter’s dance performance in Chennai. I booked my rail ticket in advance to reach the city from Bangalore. On the departure day, however, some unexpected domestic problem cropped up and I had to cancel my ticket. I hold a special value for my friends in the UAE and hence felt quite upset. But well, I had to console myself with the saying, “Man proposes, God disposes.”

The Gulf News story about the need for United Nations (UN) to end its silence on Israeli crimes, was meaningful and thought provoking (‘UN must stop being silent on Israeli crimes’, Gulf News, July 30). After more than six decades, the conflict between Israel and Palestine is continuing and I find this really saddening. The recent attacks resulting in the killing of the young child, and the mosque attack, were unacceptable. Israel continues to commit war crimes and this should be stopped through UN intervention and they must end their silence. Killing innocent civilians should be condemned in any civilised society. Will Israel ever stop?

Ram.Kathambari's mother asked me to come for discussions along with Prasanna about the marriage.

Murthy.Is it Good news

Ram.Since you are his boss ,well wisher i want you should come on that day since you are very much here.

Murthy.Certainly,it is my pleasure to come on that day.I will go on Saturday.

Ram.Thank you.Give me Prasanna

Prasanna.Hello Sir,

Ram.Prasanna you know the news

Prasanna.I was hearing your Conversation.

Ram.You bring Murthy to my place.We all will go together.

Prasanna.Sure Sir

Ram.O.K.i  will see you both on friday in my place.

After that Ram was busy in his morning routine.

He reached the office at 9.A.M. Kathambari was waiting for him

Ram.Good morning,

Kathambari.Ram ,I hope mother might  have told to meet on friday.

Ram.Yes

Kathambari.Regarding that i came here.I will come and Pick you.

Ram.Fine.i asked Prasanna and Murthy to come to my place

Kathambari.I will pick them and come to your place.You need not come by taxi.

Ram.O.K.

Kathambari.Have a Nice day.

Ram.You too.

After that Ram was thinking how her respect  for him to come and pick him on that day..

I was heartened to read the news about the Golden Age club (Seniors looking for society support, August 2). When people get older, they should not lose their universal rights. After a lifetime of working, raising families and supporting their neighbours, they deserve strong support from their communities. The least we can do is show gratitude and respect by providing the types of services necessary to protect and improve their quality of life.

Tribute to Cinematographer U.K.Senthilkumar 362.

Today i am going to pen another interesting film personality from Tamil film industry is none other than Cinematographer U.K.Senthilkumar.In his two and half decades career he has given more than forty films is worth to be mentioned here.He was associated with Director Sundar .Cfor many of his movies.Worked with all   top class actors and Directors.His frame work will be more visible both indoor and out door.I have seen  few films of this talented Cinematographer.Those  films are,Karuppu vellai,Ullathai allitha,Murai maman,Metukudi,Arunachalam,Jaanakiraman,Unnai thedi,
Suyamvaram,Azhaagar samy,Kannan varuvan,Rishi,Maaran,Indru,Jore Kodambakkam,Guru En aalu,and few i could n't remember. He has also contributed with many politicians in their election Campaign films.Liked by one and all from the film fraternity.Incidently he hails from the famous textile city Coimbatore.Today i am very happy to tribute this talented Up coming Cinematographer.

But, they could be allowed to go to the market nearby or meet up with friends. This would give children confidence, as well as help in their future development. They should know how to protect themselves in emergencies.
