Are you for or against vaccines? Readers debate whether they agree with vaccinating Side effects are low risk

Vaccines are important and should be used for children. The very common vaccines are polio, measles, mumps and rubella. Vaccines are safe and the side effects are low risk. Occasionally, anaphylactic reactions or allergic reactions have been reported. Today, many countries are administering polio vaccines to children as a preventive measure. The World Health Organisation (WHO) is monitoring the polio ratio on the global map. Any medicine will have side effects, but vaccines’ side effects are not reported as much. My opinion is that vaccines will help for a healthy environment, particularly in paediatrics.

New sector

I receivedrticle 439/. a call from a friend who had come on holiday from the UAE. He was the one who encouraged me to change my profession from pharmaceutical to risk management while I was in the UAE.

I was happy to hear his friendly voice after five years. I remembered many occasions when we went to famous hotels in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman. Initially, I was reluctant to change my pharma profession to risk management. 

My friend jovially told me, “You are not going to carry heavy bags with medicine samples. Now you can just carry papers only and avoid waiting for long hours.” 

Though meant as a joke, I thought it had deep meaning and agreed to take up the job in a new sector.

Today, in the global scenario, traffic has become a big question mark, and this issue should be answered by the international community. The traffic increase is mainly due to migrating populations and everyone wanting to travel by car. Because of too much traffic, no one has the patience to get to their destination, so we see speeding, reckless driving and accidents. So many commuters are travelling with one person per vehicle and it’s taking up more space on the roads, creating a bigger traffic menace.

To avoid this, people should join their friends and begin carpooling systems to reduce traffic. Offices and schools should be flexible in their timings, because this would also contribute to traffic reduction. Better road infrastructure would also increase the traffic flow. If traffic is maintained with these precautions and rational drivers, we would decrease the likelihood of accidents and casualties.

Companies should provide transportation for carrying groups of employees to the same areas. Ultimately, people need to cooperate in all possible ways to reduce traffic and make travel more comfortable. In my home country, only a few states have good infrastructure. The Indian government should develop this important issue. My home city is not developed with good roads, even though it is a world famous IT destination. Traffic delays your work, patience and, above all, it threatens your life.

Family togetherness

There is no pleasure better than spending time with our own children after retirement. My daughter’s visit from the US  has changed the look of my home. My loneliness is gone and each one of us is realising the value of family bonding. Films, eating out and games are part of the activities. The Net age has altered the meaning of the joint family system. There is nothing to replace the fun of family togetherness.

Next day all the guests  arrived at Sharjah cricket Stadium.Murthy and Raj was thrilled to see the stadium which  was created a big  impact in One day international matches and the stadium was  compact and elegant.
Raj.I never expected that i will be visiting this great stadium.
Srivatsava.Yes,i too
Ram.This stadium was popular for One day matches  and particularly India and Pakistan  .People will come all over the Globe for seeing the matches.
Murthy.This belongs to whom.
Ram. This  was constructed in 1980 if i am right   by  AbdulRahman Bhukatir who is a leading industrialist in Sharjah  having many  Companies .He is a great fan of Cricket.The man who has created a revolution by constructing this beautiful stadium in the desert.
Murthy.Yes,An arab interested in Cricket is great.
Ram.In his establishment most of the Indians are having good position.
Raj.Nice.
After finishing the stadium they came to Saravana Bhavan restaurant in King Faisal street ,Sharjah.
Prasanna's mother was happy to see the ground which she has seen in T.V .with Prasanna when he was studying in the Collage.
Vasanthy.I am also seeing the Stadium first time.
Raj.I see,who arranged for this.

Ram.Not for me.Prasanna told me the other day but i was also thinking how far you people like to see.
Raj.We all liked the stadium.
Then Food came to their table.All enjoyed the beautiful South indian thali.
When they came out   Vasanthy received a call from the CBD Bank Manager.
Madam,Today your FD is maturing.Can i renew it
Vasanthy.No,I will come tomorrow.
Manager.O.K.
Then they took their respective seats in the bus.

Tribute to Cinematographer George C.Williams 386.

Today i remembered another interesting film personality from Tamil film industry is none other than Cinematographer George C.Williams.In his school days he was more admired by the Stalwarts Cinematographers P.C.Sriram,Santhosh Sivan and Jeeva.He dis his Visual communication  from the famous Christian college.Later he joined with famous Cinematographer Nirav Shah as an assistant and learned the art of cinematography.Then he become an independent Cinematographer for the Popular Director A.R.Murugadoss movies.He worked with Vijay,Nayan tara and many others in his short film career of Four years is laudable.Kaththi has created a good name for his beautiful work.I have seen RajaRani,Kathithi,and Naanum Rowdythan.The latest movie Theri i have not seen.He is one of the   talented Upcoming Cinematographer.I have been repeatedly mentioning in this Column Cinematography is an art that will mesmarise.Today i am very happy to tribute this Cinematographer.

Bowie has made a very big impact on us through his talented singing, music composing and many other musical talents. His departure was, no doubt, a great loss to rock music. My opinion is that the era of rock music has not ended because we have seen in all other fields new artists coming and becoming established. In rock music, somebody will always appear and continue music history. As long as the world exists, every era will continue.
