Kudos to Kadhai Surabi Author.

On Saturday, 18th October, another interesting recording titled "Effective Communication Skills" was released by the Administrator on her channel Kadhai Surabi. It was an insightful and engaging session. The opening introduction highlighting the versatile personality and award-winning journalist Muthulakshmi was truly laudable. The speaker excellently explained the meaningful topic of effective communication skills in a simple and relatable manner. One key takeaway was that communication is not just about speaking — listening is equally important. Listening, understanding, and implementing are the three pillars of effective communication. The speaker rightly emphasized that the intention behind the message and how it is conveyed determines the effectiveness of communication. She pointed out that the power of words, along with the tone and modulation of voice, plays a vital role in delivering a message effectively. The idea that communication is the exchange of thoughts and ideas was clearly conveyed. The speaker also beautifully explained that every creature created by nature communicates in some form, which highlights the universality and necessity of communication. She made a strong point that conflicts in daily life can often be resolved through proper communication skills. In today’s world, communication skills are of paramount importance, and many corporate organizations specifically look for candidates who are effective communicators. The speaker emphasized that communication plays a role in every aspect of life—personal, professional, and social. A particularly memorable moment was when she quoted the great Tamil poet Thiruvalluvar and his reference to "Solvallamai" (eloquence or the art of speaking effectively), stressing that the foundation of good communication was deeply rooted in our literature. The poetic references and quotes added depth to the session and were highly appreciable. Her interest and devotion to Thirukkural were evident and admirable, as she skillfully compared verbal communication to the teachings of the Kural. The concept of visual communication was also clearly explained, including its advantages—especially how it helps to cut short the duration of content while retaining its impact. She also cautioned about the pitfalls of miscommunication, and how it can be avoided with clarity and awareness. Overall, this recording, like the others in the Kadhai Surabi series, was highly informative and beneficial for listeners, offering valuable insights on various topics. Wishing the author and speaker continued success and many more accolades in the future for her excellent content and effective communication skills.Above all her quote on SwamiVivekananda's Chicago speech was amazing.Kudos to her .
