Cherished Memories of My Time in the UAE (1993–2009) My 16 years in the United Arab Emirates were filled with enriching experiences and memorable achievements. Some of the highlights include: 2006: I became one of the founding members of the Gulf News Readers Club, an initiative by Gulf News to engage with its loyal readers. 2006 to 2019: My articles were published in the Short Take column of Gulf News continuously for 350 weeks, every Saturday—an incredibly fulfilling journey as a regular contributor. 2008: I earned the Competent Communicator Certificate from Toastmasters International, and also won a Trophy for a Language Competition Speech, recognizing my public speaking skills. 2009 I was featured in an interview on Kairali TV, a proud moment in my media journey. My letters and articles were published in all leading newspapers in the UAE, including: Gulf News Khaleej Times The National The Gulf Today These contributions spanned the years 2004 to 2009, and I have continued publishing in The National from 2009 to the present day. Beyond traditional media, I actively engaged with popular online platforms: Twitter and LinkedIn Blogging platforms such as: Blogspot.com WordPress.com Tumblr.com These platforms allowed me to share my thoughts, connect with like-minded individuals, and build a digital presence.
