 Correction Regarding Letter Contributions

Dear friends,

Yesterday, due to an oversight, I mentioned that I had contributed 2,500 letters to The National (UAE). I would like to clarify and correct this.

Among the four newspapers—Khaleej Times, Gulf News, The Gulf Today, and The National—all of which have been active since 2008, I have been contributing letters since I began my blogs that same year.

Out of my total 2,500 letters over the past 18 years, The National has published 978, making it my top contributor. The remaining letters were published across the other three newspapers.

I would also like to note that during the COVID period, The National reduced its Letters column frequency, which affected the overall count. While reviewing my blogs, a small typographical error led to the earlier misstatement.

I request you all to kindly ignore the previous error. The National remains my number one publication, and my contributions continue to this day.
