Today i remembered another interesting personality from the Tamil Literature World is none other than Late writer Rajam Krishnan.With limited academic background she has created a big impact in her era  is very important.She has started her writings at the age of twenty.All her works are related to  people who are not highlighted by the modern literature especially farmers, smalltime criminals,and female labourers.She has written more than 80books and shortstories.She was bestowed many National awards and 1973Sahitya Academi Award for her Verukku Neer is laudable.
No doubt she has created a big revolution in  tamil literature from her twenties.I have read few books of this writer Those books .Utharakandam,and Kurinji Then.She hails from Trichy District  known for many temples  In Tamil many women writers established their   identity and Rajam krishnan has also in a different way..Today i am very happy to tribute this talented versatile writer

Yashwant Sinha's comments on Modi are deplorableThis is in reference to the recent comment by India's former finance minister Yashwant Sinha on Narendra Modi's second term. He is warning the Indians against giving Modi a second term. I do not belong to any political party or have any affiliations with any political front, but I have been keenly observing the Indian politics for nearly six decades. I admire Sinha, he did some good work during his term in the government. And he has the right to comment. But as a common man I have a different view on the first term of Modi. Modi government has had many achievements including the recent rail-road bridge in Assam which is a big step in resolving connectivity gaps in the region. Modi is a true statesman who has elevated India's image on the global front and also done credible work in the country.

Letter Published in The National UAE on 1Jan 19 I write in reference to your article Former BJP leader warns India against second term for Modi(December 31). Amrit Dhillon’s article on former Indian finance minister Yashwant Sinha was an interesting read.

I have no party affiliation, but I have been watching Indian politics for nearly six decades. I did admire Mr Sinha when he held the external affairs portfolio. He has every right to comment on the prime minister.

As a common man watching Indian politics for decades, I’m aware that there will always be setbacks for sitting leaders and Narendra Modi is no diffferent. Overall, he has made some achievements including the recent big bridge in Assam. He is a true leader who has made a big impact on India’s standing in the world.

Politics is a game of blame and opportunism. Mr Modi’s philosophy is long-term growth for the country. His enthusiasm and energy is laudable. Whatever the criticism and comments by his own former party men, we have to wait for next year’s elections to assess Mr Modi’s popularity. Politicians should remember they are powerful for five years, but the people are powerful forever. Ultimately, they have to decide whether they want Mr Modi or not.

I write in reference to your article How 2018 became the UAE’s year of reform (December 30). Gillian Duncan’s superb piece elaborately outlining the many sweeping reforms made by the UAE in 2018, the Year of Zayed, was much appreciated. Strategies and reforms like these are necessary in all countries of the world and the UAE understood that early and took decisive action. My own country, India, has also seen many changes targeting long-term growth this year.

All in all, I think the UAE’s visa policy changes will certainly yield better growth in the coming years. Kudos to the UAE for making 2018 a true year of reform.
