Life Is Beautiful – Part 5

The next morning, during his usual walk, Ram met Moorthy.

Ram: Good morning! How are you?

Moorthy: I'm doing well. How was the birthday celebration?

Ram: It was wonderful. More than the celebration itself, Raj and I spent a long time talking about many different things. That conversation brought me even greater joy.

Moorthy: I know. You are someone who enjoys meeting people and sharing in their joys and sorrows. Ever since the day we met, I've truly admired that quality in you.

Ram: I learned that habit from my father. Unfortunately, I lost him when I was just twenty years old.

Moorthy: There's something else I really like about you. You have an immense love for nature. In your eyes, everyone is good and beautiful.

Ram: When we begin to see the goodness and beauty in everyone, love and compassion naturally blossom in our hearts.

Moorthy: That's absolutely true. Our attitude determines the quality of our life.

Ram: Sri Ramanuja taught that we should treat everyone equally. And the great Swami Vivekananda said:

"If you think you are happy, you will be happy. If you think you are not happy, that is exactly how you will remain."

What a profound philosophy of life!

Moorthy: Yes, that's true. Well, it's time for me to leave for the office. See you later.
