Ram had started this help seven years ago. Now Prasanna is studying in the final year of his B.Sc. Even until today, Ram has not told his friends about this. Whenever he helps someone, he never speaks about that help to others on his own. Only if the person who received the help reveals it, do others come to know.

Even until today, Ram has never met Prasanna’s mother in person. He had complete faith in that boy. Prasanna, through his own efforts and talent, protected the trust Ram had placed in him.

Ram believed that after Prasanna completed his studies, he could help him get a good job with the support of his friend Murthy.

At that moment, the calling bell suddenly rang. Ram’s stream of memories was interrupted, and he returned to the real world. When he opened the door, Murthy was standing outside.

Murthy: “Hello Ram, how are you?”

Ram: “I am fine. Please come inside.”

Murthy: “Ram, I am going to Madikeri tomorrow. Will you come with me?”

The moment Ram heard the word “Madikeri,” his face lit up with happiness.

Ram: “Really?”

Murthy: “Yes. I need your company. We will leave at seven in the morning and return by evening.”

Ram: “Okay, I will come with you.”

Murthy: “Alright, see you tomorrow morning.”

Saying this, Murthy left.

After he left, Ram went and stood in front of his mother’s photograph.

“Mother… after twenty- nine years, I am going to Madikeri again…”

As he said this, tears filled his eyes.
