Life is Beautiful – Part 6
After Murthy left, Ram went as usual to the bakery to buy his morning bread. The bakery owner, Aachar, greeted him.
Aachar: “Good morning, sir. Prasanna came here five minutes ago. He asked whether you were at home.”
Ram: “Oh no! I completely forgot that Prasanna was coming today. I must go home immediately.”
Ram quickly bought the bread and rushed home. Prasanna was waiting there for him.
Ram: “Good morning, Prasanna. Have you been waiting long?”
Prasanna: “No, sir. I just arrived.”
Ram: “Come inside. How are your studies going?”
Prasanna: “They are going well, sir. How is your health?”
Ram: “My health is very good. Come, have breakfast with me.”
Prasanna: “No, sir. I must leave now.”
Ram: “Alright. How much do you need for this month’s college fees?”
Prasanna: “I need ₹2,000 this time, sir. I also have to pay the hostel fees.”
Ram wrote a cheque for that amount and gave it to Prasanna.
“See you,” he said.
Ram: “Alright. Go safely. Take care of your health.”
