Small Story 666.

 Small Story 666

Life is beautiful. 11.

The next morning, Ram and Murthy began their journey to Mercara. Mercara is a beautiful place, surrounded by coffee, tea, and cardamom plantations. These estates belong to the Coorgi people. The Coorgi people are from the Coorg (Kodagu) region. Most of them are well-educated and estate owners. Their hospitality is very famous.

While driving, Murthy asked Ram, “When did you last come to Mercara?”

Ram replied, “If I remember correctly, it was twenty-nine years ago. I went on a trip with my college friends. Ah, that was an unforgettable journey…”

Murthy said, “Yes, I understand.”

Ram added, “Murthy, this highway has many curves. I don’t want to disturb you, so please focus on driving.”

Murthy said, “Yes, you’re right. This highway has many curves.”

Ram closed his eyes. His mind drifted back to the day he visited Mercara twenty-nine years ago.

It was around six in the evening. A light drizzle was falling. Ram got down from a taxi with his friends. He was then a 28-year-old handsome young man with a strong and attractive build. Everyone noticed him. They went to a restaurant and were having tea.

Suddenly, a voice came from behind him. Ram turned back and was surprised. A beautiful woman was smiling at him.

“Excuse me, is this purse yours?” she asked.

Ram checked his pocket. It wasn’t there.

She said, “You were sitting in the front seat, so I thought this bag might be yours because it was left behind. Sorry.”

Ram said, “I don’t know, maybe someone left it behind. I am Ram, working as a history professor in Bangalore. I came to visit this beautiful place,” he introduced himself.

She said, “I am Vasanti. I work in a bank in Mysore. I also came here to see this beautiful place with my friend. She went to meet relatives. I was waiting when I found this purse.”

Ram said, “My friends have also gone to meet someone. I am waiting too.” Ram looked at Vasanti.

She looked like an angel. Wearing a blue saree and jasmine flowers in her long beautiful hair made her beauty even more enchanting. When she smiled, her teeth sparkled beautifully and captivatingly.

Suddenly, it started raining.
