A Vedic chanting group of 80 members 5. 56 Paadasaalais (religious schools) 6. 20 members dedicated to Madapalli (temple kitchen) service 7. 24 ceremonial umbrellas — and they themselves have the skill to set them up 8. A group of about 400 Bhagavathas (devotees engaged in chanting and service) 9. On around 320 days of the year, some kind of procession takes place 10. A women’s group of 300 members (Andal group) who clean the temple daily 11. Most importantly — the daily attire and decoration offered to Parthasarathy Perumal is worth at least 2 lakh rupees All these are carried out strictly according to the Thenacharya Sampradaya (Southern Vaishnavite tradition). It has remained a stronghold that no one has been able to shake till now. All this is due to the divine will of Perumal and Thaayar, and the unity and discipline of the devotees performing the services. 🙏🌹
