Tribute to Mr. Ramalingam Venkateswaran (Venkat) 902 Today, I fondly remember another wonderful friend with whom my association spans over three decades — and continues even today. Mr. Ramalingam Venkateswaran, fondly known as Venkat, is a smart, smiling, and friendly personality who made a remarkable name for himself in the travel industry in the Middle East. I first met Venkat in 1995, during my tenure in the UAE, where he was working with a leading travel agency. His professionalism, commitment, and extensive network of clients — both individuals and corporates — were truly impressive. Venkat had an exceptional ability to connect with people, particularly top executives and finance managers, which helped him build lasting relationships and a solid reputation in the industry. Over the years, I had several opportunities to work closely with him and witnessed firsthand his efficiency, dedication, and passion for providing excellent travel services. During my stay in the UAE, he took care of all my family’s travel needs with remarkable service and personal attention — something I will always remember and appreciate. Venkat went on to become one of the most successful executives in the travel industry in the Middle East and is now well settled in Chennai. Our warm rapport continues through social media, and I continue to cherish the bond we built over the years.
