Good Topic.

Hue or Sayal – A Meaningful Tradition Our Madhyamar group administrator gave us a very good topic. The concept of hue or sayal is truly interesting and has been followed for decades. Elders, the moment they see a newborn coming out of the hospital, often try to recognize whom the child resembles—whether the mother or the father. This tradition has been observed for many generations. If the child is a boy and resembles the mother, or if a girl resembles the father, people usually consider it lucky and believe it will bring good fortune in later stages of life. Such beliefs have been passed down through families and society over time. Even during weddings or family gatherings, when we see a beautiful or fair lady, we immediately compare her features with our children and talk about resemblance. This habit of noticing and valuing resemblance has created a strong social impact. Over time, hue or sayal has brought a kind of revolution, and many people started following and highlighting resemblance for pride, identity, and even popularity. Overall, hue or sayal is a meaningful topic that reflects our culture, emotions, and long-standing traditions. K.Ragavan
