Small Story 465.

Small Story 465 Coincidences of Care Vaikunt returned home from the hospital after visiting his friend and completing his annual health check-up. The hospital administrator applauded both friends for an interesting coincidence—they had been undergoing their annual check-ups on the same date for the past ten years. Rahul and Mukund, Vaikunt’s close friends, had worked as managers at IBM and retired on the very same day—yet another coincidence. Their friendship had begun nearly two and a half decades ago, just like the tradition of their annual check-ups. Both friends had one son each, working in Hyderabad. Neither son was willing to go abroad, as both wished to do something new and meaningful for society. Vaikunt’s wife Nandhini smiled and asked gently, “How were your results, dear? I hope everything is normal.” “Very true, dear,” Vaikunt replied softly. “You take good care of my food habits, our son is carrying forward my values, and I have no worries. That is the main reason.” In today’s fast-paced life, such balance—health, family, and peace of mind—is essential for true happiness and a normal life. K.Ragavan 20-12-25
