Small Story 466 Unexpected Friend’s Arrival Srimathi, after visiting her friend in Padmanabanagar, was planning to go to meet her close friend Swetha in Banashankari. Just then, she received a call from Swetha. “Hey! I’m planning to watch the much-talked-about movie today at INOX, JP Nagar. Will you join me?” Swetha asked. Srimathi replied, “I’m in Padmanabanagar now and was actually planning to visit your place. Since you already have a plan, you carry on.” “No, dear,” Swetha said warmly. “You are my best friend. I was only planning, not reserved. Come home and have lunch with me.” Smiling, Srimathi said, “Okay, it seems today is written like this. I’m coming to your home now.” Srimathi took an auto. On the way, she stopped at the Nandhini stall and bought Mysore Pak and Peda, both of which Swetha and her daughter Nisha loved very much. She reached Swetha’s independent house and felt happy seeing the garden filled with colorful flowers. After spending an hour recalling old memories, they went to the dining table. Swetha had prepared all the dishes nicely, including carrot halwa, Srimathi’s favorite. After a delicious lunch, Srimathi got ready to leave.
