Tribute 921.

Tribute to MukthaFilms 60 on Entering Its 7th Successful Year

MukthaFilms 60 group has successfully completed six remarkable years and is now stepping into its 7th year—a proud milestone indeed. Over the years, the group has grown in strength and stature, introducing a wide range of engaging programmes featuring film personalities and technicians. These efforts have been widely appreciated by its members.

I have been a part of this group since 2002and I have consistently observed the excellent coordination between the organizers and participants. This spirit of unity and collaboration is truly admirable.

One of the most commendable aspects of this group is its inclusiveness—bringing together actors and artists irrespective of their roles, along with celebrities from various fields. This has made the group widely loved not only among its members but also among many non-members who hear about its activities.

The foundation of this legacy lies in the visionary work of the renowned duo: the late V. Ramaswamy, a distinguished producer, and V. Srinivasan, an award-winning director. Together, they contributed around  50 meaningful films to cinema,if I am right leaving behind a rich legacy that continues to inspire. The name “MukthaFilms 60” itself stands as a tribute to Director V. Srinivasan’s remarkable body of work, which continues to speak for itself.

I would also like to acknowledge the dedicated efforts of Muktha Srinivasan’s daughter, Maya Srinivasan, as well as Mr. Ramaswamy’s daughter Vidhya if i amright and sons —Muktha Ravi and Sundar—for their hard work and commitment in carrying this legacy forward. Their contributions have been instrumental in the group reaching this significant milestone.

On this special occasion of entering its 7th successful year, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to everyone associated with MukthaFilms 60. I wish the group continued success and many more achievements in the years to come.

With warm regards,

K. Ragavan
