Small Story 561.

 Small Story 561.

A Good Decision

Yamini was thrilled when her boss asked her to travel to the UAE to cover the latest news. It was a big opportunity, and she felt proud of the trust placed in her.

When she shared the news with her parents, her mother, Nandhini, looked worried. “I am not encouraging you to go to the UAE at this time,” she said anxiously.

Yamini replied confidently, “Mom, what are you saying? I have been one of the most successful anchors in our channel for the past three years. I’ve covered many important stories and earned good recognition. The UAE is a safe place. You’ve seen in the past few days how they have prevented drone attacks and protected people. Journalism is my passion, and one must be prepared for challenges. We will be protected, so please don’t worry.”

Her father, Ram, supported her. “Nandhini, don’t worry. She will handle this project well and earn a great name,” he said reassuringly.

Nandhini had always trusted Ram’s judgment, and in many situations, his words had proven right. After a moment, she nodded with a faint smile.

Yamini hugged her father and said, “I love you, Dad. You always encourage me. I will leave tomorrow by Emirates.”

Ram smiled and replied, “You are traveling with one of the finest airlines, and I believe your visit will contribute positively during this crisis. It may even bring hope for peace in the region.”

With her parents’ blessings and confidence in her heart, Yamini prepared for her journey, ready to face challenges and make a difference.
