The ongoing crisis involving the United States, Israel, and Iran has still not come to a conclusion, even after 29 days of conflict. The continued deployment of troops and the persistent attacks on Iran’s plants and other critical areas are deeply concerning and unacceptable in a civilized society.
In any war, beyond the question of victory or defeat, it is the innocent civilians who suffer the most. They are left without security, facing loss of life, displacement, and immense hardship. As a senior citizen of India, I deeply sympathize with the innocent people across all affected regions who have lost their lives and livelihoods.
It is imperative that the international community, along with organizations such as the United Nations and global human rights bodies, step up their efforts to bring an end to this devastating conflict and protect civilians. The UN Security Council must act decisively to address and resolve this crisis.
This war has already begun to create global panic and may lead to serious consequences, including energy shortages in the days to come. Immediate and collective action is essential to restore peace and prevent further human suffering.
