Small Story 530.T

Small Story 530: An Amazing Visit to the Trio Castle House Ramyawas anxious and excited to receive her guests of Her mother-in-law had come from the US three daughter of brother , who were all holding good positions there. Exactly at 11 a.m., the trio—Lakshmi, Swapna, and Nandhini—arrived carrying a box full of sweets. They greeted Aunt Pankajam warmly and smiled at Ramya. Ramya welcomed them into her home with great joy. The three women, in their mid-fifties and elder to Ramya, spoke in their pure South Indian mother tongue, which filled the house with warmth and familiarity. After enjoying a delicious lunch along with the sweets they had brought, the guests were very happy. They told Aunt Pankajam that they had missed her for more than twelve years. They had also missed Ramya’s husband, Ramesh, and regretted not being able to attend the housewarming of their newly built home, which was designed with a unique concept. Now that they had finally seen it, they were thrilled. Ramya took them around the entire house, explaining how it had been built in an eco-friendly style. The guests were especially attracted to the structure, which was built with bricks and resembled a British castle. They admired the way Ramya maintained the house and were delighted by the amazing behavior of her dog. Lakshmi whispered to Ramya, “This time, we have planned not to miss anything. We are truly amazed by your beautiful eco-friendly castle-like home.” After spending a few pleasant hours together and enjoying tea with snacks, the trio left happily, grateful for meeting their aunt and her dear daughter-in-law. They could not meet the children, as they had gone to the office. While traveling back to their hotel, Swapna nodded and said, “What an amazing castle house—blending old tradition with beautiful antiques!” K.Ragavan 23-2-26
