Finally, unable to hold back her excitement, Suma said, “I received my promotion letter this morning! I wanted to surprise you.” Rama’s eyes widened with joy. “What a coincidence! I also got my promotion message today.” Both friends burst into laughter, delighted that they had been promoted on the same day. Their column had become immensely popular among readers, and the management decided to reward them together with promotions and added perks.
