 Small Story 781

The Value of Training, Recognition, and Lasting Relationships

Ram was busy with his office work when his mobile phone suddenly rang. The incoming number was unfamiliar, but he decided to answer the call.

"Hello, who is speaking?"

A pleasant female voice replied, "Good morning, Sir. I am Pramila, calling from Singapore. I joined your Bloggers Paradise last year."

Ram listened attentively as she continued.

"Sir, I am delighted to share some wonderful news with you. I am currently working as the Chief Editor of a leading publishing company here in Singapore. Recently, I was promoted to a much higher position, something I had never anticipated happening so soon.

"My organisation has greatly appreciated my dedication, the quality of my work, and, in particular, the content policies and professional approach I have consistently followed. These qualities have played an important role in my recent promotion.

"With more than 18 years of professional experience, this new opportunity is a significant milestone in my career. I strongly believe that the training I received at your Bloggers Paradise, along with your valuable guidance on developing quality content, played an important role in shaping my professional approach.

"I sincerely thank you, Sir, for your excellent training, encouragement, and inspiration."

Ram immediately recognised her voice and responded warmly.

"Oh! Now I remember you, Pramila. Congratulations! This is indeed wonderful news. I am extremely happy to hear about your achievement. My heartfelt wishes for many more successes in your professional career."

"Thank you so much, Sir. Are you currently in Mysore?"

"No, I have come to Bengaluru for a family function. I am also planning to watch the much-talked-about film America America 2 with my better half during our stay here."

Pramila responded enthusiastically, "That is wonderful, Sir! I have heard from many friends that the movie is amazing. Please enjoy the film, and convey my regards to Madam."

Ram thanked her for her kind wishes.

Before ending the call, Ram expressed his appreciation.

"Pramila, I am truly happy that you still remember your association with our Bloggers Paradise. It gives me immense satisfaction to know that the training and guidance you received here have contributed to your professional growth. The real reward for a trainer is to see his students succeed in their chosen fields. I wish you all the very best and hope you reach even greater heights in your career."

Pramila thanked him once again, and after exchanging a few more pleasantries, they ended the call.

Meanwhile, Ram's friend Navin had already confirmed their movie tickets at a theatre in a shopping mall in Rajarajeshwari Nagar (RR Nagar), Bengaluru.

After enjoying a delicious lunch, Ram and Vasanthi arrived at the theatre complex. They collected their tickets and settled down comfortably in their seats, looking forward to enjoying the much-anticipated movie.

The film turned out to be thoroughly entertaining, and both Ram and Vasanthi enjoyed the experience immensely. It was a pleasant outing that added another happy memory to their time together in Bengaluru.

After the screening, they started their return journey to Mysore by car.

As the car travelled along the highway, Ram reflected on Pramila's unexpected phone call. He felt proud that a former trainee, after building a successful professional career over the years, had taken the time to remember her learning experience at Bloggers Paradise and personally share her achievement with him.

He realised that professional training was not merely about teaching techniques, sharing knowledge, or developing writing skills. It was also about building confidence, encouraging creativity, maintaining professional standards, and helping individuals discover their potential.

What made him even happier was that Pramila had remembered her association with him even after establishing herself in a responsible position in an international publishing organisation.

For Ram, this was much more than an ordinary congratulatory phone call. It was a meaningful reminder that the impact of good teaching extends far beyond the classroom or training programme.

He smiled with satisfaction, realising that the efforts of Bloggers Paradise had made a lasting difference in someone's professional journey.

The true success of a teacher is not measured by the number of students trained, but by the achievements, confidence, and professional growth of those whom he has guided.

Recognition may come at any time, but the lasting relationships built through knowledge, encouragement, and genuine guidance are the greatest rewards of all.
