Tribute to.S.S.Vasan.Architect of GeminiStudio Today I remembered another Mighty banner in the SouthIndian film industry: Gemini.S.Srinivasan or S.S.Vasan is the architect of the famous Gemini studio that created a revolution decades back.. He has erected a beautiful set for his Gigantic film Chandralekha is still in front of my eyes..I still remember most of the Bollywood movies re-recording and processing the East Man colour in Gemini Studio. Gemini studio was Prominently situated in the Corner of Famous Mount Road .Late Gemini Ganesh was associated with Gemini banner for many years. From ordinary Ganesh he has become Gemini Ganesan.S.S.vasan produced many successful movies Some are Avvaiyar,Vanjikottaivaliban,Motor sundaram pillai,and irumbu thirai is to be remembered.He has produced in Hindi also.One of the talented producer Director had a good name not only in the Film fraternity but also in political area .Two small kids is his monogram ,liked by millions of people.Top Bollywood stars acted in his Bannar.It was prestigious to associate with Gemini Banner in those days.He had talented technicians and script writers in his unit,one Was Late KothaMangalam subbu. In those days only three studios was very popular in Chennai one was Gemini and other were Vauhini and AVM .Even thoughSimple,well behaved and respected Stalwart S.S.vasan is no longer with us ,his work is still alive.Incidently my name in the house is Gemini given by my late Uncle Partha sarathy who was an Advertising Giant. *தாத்தாவும் பாட்டியும் சிரிக்கிறார்கள்......* 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 கரியையும் சாம்பல்தூளையும் கொடுத்து பல் விளக்கச் சொன்னபோது , பட்டிக்காடு என இளித்த பற்கள் இன்று வேரற்று போனபோது , ஓடி நின்றேன் சர்வோதயா காதிகிராப்ட் என பல்பொடி வாங்க... *தாத்தாவும் பாட்டியும்* *சிரிக்கிறார்கள்*..... வெந்தயமும் சீகைக்காயும் வடிதண்ணீரில் அரைத்து தேய்த்துக் குளி என்றபோது , பித்துக்குளிகள் என எள்ளி நகையாடி சிக் ஷாம்புவை சிக்கென பிடித்து இன்று வெண்கேசம் வந்தபின்பு ஓடுகின்றேன் சீகைக்காய் வாங்க...... *தாத்தாவும் பாட்டியும்* *சிரிக்கிறார்கள்*.... பாசிப் பயறோ கடலை மாவோ அரைத்துக்குளி என்ற போது , லிரில் , லக்ஸ் சினிமா நட்சத்திரங்களின் அழகு சோப் என அத்தரித்திரங்கள் கைகாட்டிய கட்டிகளை எல்லாம் போட்டு தோள் சுறுங்கி வயோதிகம் தெரிந்த பின்பு , ஓடுகின்றேன் பயத்த மாவு அரைக்க *தாத்தாவும் பாட்டியும்* *சிரிக்கிறார்கள்*..... இருமலோ தும்மலோ வந்தபோது துளசி தூதுவளை சுக்கு மிளகு போட்டு கசாயம் தந்தபோது , முகத்தை சுளித்து காஃப் சிரப் குடித்து தைராய்டு வரை சென்ற பின்பு , ஓடுகின்றேன் துளசி , தூதுவளைச் செடி வளர்க்க..... *தாத்தாவும் பாட்டியும்* *சிரிக்கிறார்கள*்...... வயிற்று வலி என்றபோது வெறும் வயிற்றில் வெந்தயக் களியோ கற்றாழைச் சாறோ கொண்டு வந்து தந்தபோது சீறி தூக்கி எறிந்து , ப்ருஃபென்னும் பெயின்கில்லரும் போட்டு கருப்பை பளுதடைந்த பின்பு , ஓடுகின்றேன் கற்றாழை வளர்க்க...... *தாத்தாவும் பாட்டியும்* *சிரிக்கிறார்கள்*...... நல்லெண்ணெய் செக்கில் ஆட்டி மணமாய் தந்தபோது , சன்ஃபிளவர் ஆயில் பார் முகம் காட்டும் தூய்மை எனக் கூறி முகத்தில் அறைய பதிலுரைத்துவிட்டு , இன்று உடல் நோய்க்கு இடமாக ஓடுகின்றேன் செக்கு நோக்கி ..... *தாத்தாவும் பாட்டியும்* *சிரிக்கிறார்கள*்...... மண்பானை சமையல் மண்பானை குளிர் நீரை எல்லாம் மாற்றி விட்டு , ஆர்வோ வாட்டர் என புழு பூச்சி கூட வாழத்தகுதி அற்ற நீரைக்குடித்து குடித்து சவமானபின்பு ஓடுகின்றேன் மண்பானை வாங்க..... *தாத்தாவும் பாட்டியும்* *சிரிக்கிறார்கள்* ...... படித்த தலைமுறை எனும் நாகரீகத்தில் திளைத்து குருகுலக் கல்வியை கோடிக்கணக்கான ரூபாய் கல்வியாக்கி , கொல்லைத்துளசி வைத்தியம் மறந்து , மாடிகளில் குளீருட்டப்பட்ட அறைக்கு இலட்ச இலட்சமாய்க் கொட்டி , நடைப்பிணமாக வாழ்வில் எங்கே சுதந்திரம் ஏது சுகாதாரம் என்று எங்கெங்கோ திாிந்து அலைகிறேன்..... *தாத்தாவும் பாட்டியும்* *சிரிக்கிறார்கள்* ........ **** "மூத்தோா் சொல்லும் முதுநெல்லிக்காயும் முன்னே கசக்கும் , பின்னே இனிக்கும்" 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
