Tragic Incident.

The recent building tragedy at a PG hostel in Delhi, and the loss of precious lives, is deeply sad and painful to read about. My heartfelt condolences go to the families who have lost their loved ones. It is truly a tragic and unfortunate incident.

Such incidents remind us of the importance of regular safety inspections and strict enforcement of building rules and regulations. Buildings, particularly old and vulnerable structures, should be periodically inspected by the concerned authorities. Wherever safety improvements or structural changes are recommended, the owners and management must implement them without delay.

Building owners and hostel operators have a responsibility to follow all prescribed safety norms, obtain the necessary approvals, and ensure that their premises are safe for the people living and working there. Safety regulations should never be treated as mere formalities.

At the same time, the authorities must ensure proper monitoring, timely inspections, and effective enforcement. If negligence or violations are found, there must be clear accountability and appropriate action.

Human life is precious. Preventive measures, responsible administration, and strict adherence to safety regulations can help avoid such unforeseen and heartbreaking incidents in the future.

A sad and tragic incident that should serve as a serious reminder to all of us about the importance of safety, responsibility, and accountability.
