In this case, in 1849, India's former king Dileep Singh, as a 10-year-old, signed a treaty with the British. He gave up his sovereignty along with the entire royal treasury, which included the gemstone, to Queen Victoria, who wore the Koh-i-Noor as a brooch. Seeing it on the crown during Queen Elizabeth's funeral has irked some Indians who are calling for it to be returned. I believe the UK should return it to the original owner. India is often known for its friendly nature and peaceable relations within the international arena. April 6, 2009 by krishnamachari ragavan Today i remembered an Young up coming Director from Tamil film industry who created a Good impact through his films,is none other than Director Bala.He has few films to his credit ,but three of those films was hit.His first maiden ventureSethu was the Best Regional film,won Silver lotus award.Today’s Famous Actor Vikram got a good break through this movie.Next Film Nandha has many laurels,Actor Surya ,Laila and Comedian Karunas was introduced and made a impact.Another wonderful movie i can not forget was Pithamagan,which won National andFilm Filmfare awards for Director Bala,,Actor Vikram ,Actress Laila,Best Supporting Actor award for Surya and Supporting actress Sangeetha is worth to be mentioned here..I Have seen these three movies with Bala’s Directorial touch Technical aspects of good cinematography and editing will be more visible in his movies..Madurai district has created Many talented artists,Lyricist,and Directors is not an Exaggerated onea nd incidentally this Director also hails from Madurai district.
