 IPLT20  26 th match between RCB and PBKS played at Ahmedabad RCB won the toss and chose to bowl.PBKS openers Skipper Rahul and PSingh started the innings.Except Chris Gayle 46 ,Harpreet Brar 25and Skipper Rahul Unbeaten 91 made PBKS 179 for 5 /RCB started their innings and  failed to reach the target of 180.Virat 35,Patidar 31

Harshal Patel 31 was the main runs.RCB how they failed to score 180.PBKS has played very well and bowlers also bowled very well.PBKS this victory against RCB with 34 runswas amazing.Kudos to PBKS Skipper Rahul and his men.

IPL T20 25 th  match  between DC and KKR playedat Ahmedabad DC Won the toss and chose to bowl. KKR players Shubman Gill 43 Tripathi 19Rana 15Russel 45 not out and Cummins 11 closed their innings  154 for  6 wicketsLater DC played and Shaw smashed and scored 72 and hit six fours continusly made DC won the match with others for156runs and three wickets winning by 7wicketsKKR was amazing.DC is always gives tough fight only two or three matches lost .However it was a good game and DC deserves for their delivery.Kudos to DC Skipper Pant and his men especially Shaw.

 IPL T20 24 th  match between RR and MI played at Delhi MI won the toss and chose to bowl. RR started their innings  with Butler 42 ,Jaiswal 32 Skipper Samson 42 and Dube 35 made  171 for 4 wickets is not bad.MI Started their innings after the dismissal of Skipper Rohit Sharma for 14 and Suryakumar Yadav for 16 Krunal Pandya 39 Joined with De Kock70 Unbeaten and Pollard 16 made MI a good victory and MI is moving to 3Points.Good match from RR and MI.kudos to MI Skipper Rohit and his men.

 IPLT20 match between SRH andCSK played at Delhi srh Won the toss and Chose to bat.After losing Jonny 's wicket Skipper David Warner 57 Manish Pandey61 and Williamson26 brought the score to 171 for 3 Wickets is a comfortable figure.for SRH.Sam curran and Lungi Ngidi took one and two wickets each from CSK.CSK started very well with their batsmen Gaikwad and Du Plessis and made the victory over 8wickets was amazing.SRH again again unlucky despite all played very well.T20 Power ful game required and not defensive .However CSK has done their part very well.Good victory for CSKSkipper Dhoni and his men.

 IPL T20 22nd match between RCB and DC played at Ahmedabad DC won the toss and  chose  to  bowl RCB started their innings and  with maxwell Patidar Ab de Villiers73 and RCB finished their innings  171 for 5.Later DC started and played well .Despite ,Hetmyer scored in one over 18  runs DC Has lost  in one run was sad.DC has given tough fight and tried it's best but lost.RCB Players both in Bowling and batting  done a good job especially Ab de Villiers batting made RCB won the match.However it was a very good match from both teams.Kudosto RCB Skipper Virat and his men.

 IPL  T20 match between PBKS and KKR Played at Ahamedabad stadium KKR won the toss and chose to bowl. PBKS top players have completely failed except Mayank Agarwal played well Total for 9 wickets  they scored 123 runs was not at all a good performance PBKS was not in their usualgame both in bowling and batting.KKR played very well with Skipper Morgan's unbeaten score and good bowling made them for the victory.Recent matches with low score teams are winning in the tournament.KKR has deserved to win the match.Kudos to KKRSkipper Morganand his men.

 Today i remembered another interesting personality from the Tamil Literary World is none other than 

late Lakshmanan Ramanathan Chettiar popularly known through his pen name Tamil vanan.Decades back he and his creative characters was applauded by Millions of readers through his Tamil Magazine Kalkandu was not an exaggerated one.His imagination and writing style with his charactersDetective Shankar lal,Manickam wa amazing.I still remember many readers will be eagerly waiting for the issue on the previous day to follow his story.Simple language with suspense and humour  will bemore visible in his writeUps  and ,Novels.i have read Shankar Lal Thupparigirar and Thimingala Theevu.One of the Sophisticated writer  was very popular in decades back and his magazine Kalkandu . Old senior citizens like me will remember this great writer who inspired both Paedeatrics and Gereatrics Today i tribute  this Legend with limited creations created a very big impact decades back.

 Kudos to DC Skipper Pant and his men.IPL T20 20 th match  between DC and SRH played at Chennai DC won the toss and chose to bat.Openers Shaw and Dhawan played very well and departed.After that Skipper Pant and Smith joined  and played well.DC closed their innings at 159for 4.Later SRH Started their innings Jonny Bairstow,Warner had played well and with other players they arrived at 159 the same figure of DC.On the super over SRH has lost one run againsr t DC and lost the match was sad.SRH has been playing very well but their last minute luck was bad and lost four matches and DC Won 4matches in the tournament was appreciable.Both teams have played very well abnd DCwas desired  for the winning.Kudos to DC Skipper Pant and his men

Kudos to CSK Skipper Dhoni and his men  IPL  T20 19 th match between CSK  and RCB played at Mumbai CSK won the toss and chose to bat Du Plessis Gaikwad ,  Rayudu ,Jadeja 62 highest if  I am right and Du Plessis second highest made CSK 191 for 4 .  Millions of fans watched the amazing sixers by Jadeja .  Du plessis and Jadeja made CSK more comfortable position RCBstarted their innings and their talented batsmen all failed  except Parikkal, Maxwell,Jamieson  made only 122 for 9 and      CSK Won the match. The  main architect of this match was Jadeja  performed very well both in bowling and batting..His magnificient  Sixers was a good treat for his fans watching on T.V.Agreat game of CSK and utterly failure of RCB .RCB has brilliant  batsmen and today they all failed miseranbly.I have been watching Cricket for decades and the game is purely on luck on that day above all Consistency plays.Today's mammoth victory for CSK shows they have  come back  with their  original form..If they continue this same tempo they will be a terror for others.Kudos to CSK Skipper Dhoni and his men.

closed their innings 133 for 9.Moris is responsible from RR to restrict the KKR Scoring is important.Later RR Started with Skipper Sanju Samson's balanced batting with others support won the match by six wickets is laudable.KKR has completely failed this match both in bowling and batting to score a sizable runs.This tournament made viewers a new concept with less runs any team can win.All the teams are giving tough fight for each other.Kudos to RR Skipper Sanju Samson and his men.

 Kudos to PBKS Skipper and his men.IPL T20 17 th match between MI and PBKS played at Chennai PBKS won the toss and chose to bowl MI BatsmenDe Kock,Ishan Kishan failed to score.Skipper Rohit and surya kumar yadav and Pollard played well and the score came to 131 for six wickets is not a big score for the range of MI.Later PBKS Played very well Skipper Rahul's half century and made 5000 runs record in IPL was laudable.Gayle and Rahul made PBKS Won against MI With 9 wickets is really amazing.PBKS has been proving theirmettle in every match and this victory was great against MI.Kudos to PBKS Skipper Rahul and his men.

 Kudos to RCB Skipper Virat and his men,IPL T20 16 th match between RCB and RR played at Mumbai RCB won the toss and chose to bowl .Even though few wickets fall down the players skipper Sanju Samson Parag ,Dube ,Tewatia played well and finished the innings for 177 at 9 wickets.Later RCB started their innings with openers Virat and Padikkal and finished their innings victory with out no wicket with 10 Wickets victory was Wonderful.RR has completely failed with their bowling attack.Superb batting of Left hander Padikkal century and skipper Virat 's very good battingand his completion of 6000 runs in the IPLis another main attraction of the match.RCB 's this victory might have created fear with other teams and if i am right RCB made record by not loosing a single wicket.Bengalu boy Padikkal's amazing batting was a big treat for the viewers on the scree.Kudos to RCB Skipper Virat and his men.

COVID-19 at Kumbh Mela

The recent hike in COVID-19 cases in India at the annual Kumbh Mela festival in India was shocking (“Over 1,000 test positive for COVID-19 at India religious festival”, Gulf News, April 14). Millions gathered for the Kumbh Mela festival despite a raging pandemic. The entire country is recording the increase in numbers, and people attending gatherings in large numbers without masks are highly condemned. Our country is known for its diversity and many religious functions. But for now, people should abstain from any kind of gatherings when COVID-19 is spreading so fast. I appeal to all state governments not to allow people for any celebrations so that the surge may come down. People are under the impression that getting inoculated makes them free from spreading the COVID-19 virus. Government should impose strict laws for large gatherings. Will the authorities look into this valid issue?

 GERMANY BIDS FAREWELL TO  ANGELA MERKEL_

With six minutes of warm applause, on the streets, balconies, windows, the whole Country applauded for 6 minutes - spectacular example of leadership and defense of humanity, chapeaux !

The Germans elected her to lead them, and she led 80 million Germans for 18 years with *competence, skill, dedication and sincerity*. *She did not utter nonsense. She did not appear in the alleys of Berlin to be photographed. She was dubbed "The Lady of the World" and who was described as the equivalent of six million men.*

During these eighteen years of her leadership of the authority in her Country, *no transgressions were recorded against her. She did not assign any of her relatives to a government post. She did not claim that she was the maker of glories. She did not get millions in payment, nor did anyone cheer her performance, she did not receive charters and pledges, she did not fight those who preceded her*.

Yesterday, Merkel left the party leadership position and handed it over to those after her, and Germany and it's German people are in the best condition ever.

The reaction of the Germans was unprecedented in the history of the Country. *The entire population went out to their balconies of their houses and clapped for her spontaneously for 6 continuous minutes. A standing ovation nationwide*.

Germany stood as one body bidding farewell to their leader, a chemical physicist who *was not tempted by the fashion or the lights and did not buy real estate, cars, yachts and private planes*, knowing that she is from former East Germany.

*She left her post after leaving Germany at the top. She left and her relatives did not claim advantage. Eighteen years and she never changed her wardrobe. God be upon this silent leader.*

At a press conference, a female Journalist asked Merkel : *We notice that you're wearing the same suit, don’t you have any other? She replied: "I am a government employee and not a model*"

At another press conference, they asked her : *Do you have housemaids who clean your house, prepare your meals and so on? Her answer was: "No, I do not have servants and I do not need them. My husband and I do this work at home every day.*

Then another journalist asked : *Who is washing the clothes, you or your husband? Her answer: "I arrange the clothes, and my husband is the one who operates the washing machine, and it is usually at night, because electricity is available and there is no pressure on it, and the most important thing is to take into the account the possible inconvenience for the neighbours, thankfully the wall separating our apartment from the neighbours is thick. She said to them, "I expected you to ask me about the successes and failures in our work in the government??"*

Mrs. Merkel lives in a normal apartment like any other citizen. *She lived in this apartment before being elected Chancellor of Germany. She did not leave it and does not own a villa, servants, swimming pools or gardens.*

Merkel, the now former Chancellor of Germany, the largest economy in Europe !!
