In homage to the legendary radio broadcaster, Ameen Sayani 807, I feel compelled to document in my blogs about the impactful late radio announcer. A versatile talent, he contributed as a writer, actor in Bollywood, and served as a brand ambassador for Tata Oil Mills. Tribute to SLV Friends Group "A few months ago, I met a great group of friends during my morning walk near my residence in JPNagar, Bengaluru. Among the friends in the group, the senior person, Sathyanarayana, was the captain, inspired by his calm and friendly nature towards everyone, including me. The fact that this group of friends has been meeting in the same place for more than two decades is amazing. More than twenty, if I am correct, are good friends from various professions, retired and continuing their friendship to this day, which is laudable. I am fortunate to be associated with this group and to spend ten to fifteen minutes with them daily. The astonishing part is that they have all left their old places and migrated within a radius of ten kilometers, yet they continue their friendship and meet at the same old SLV Cafe junction, showing that true friendship cannot be broken. Before I conclude, I want to wish Captain Satyanarayana a very happy and healthy birthday today, 21st February, and all his family members many happy and peaceful days ahead. Tribute to TTD Tirupathi 806 Today, I am compelled to immortalize the world-famous temple in India, which has wielded a profound influence for decades, drawing millions of devotees from both domestic and international realms—a fact undeniable. The meticulous arrangements tailored for individuals of all ages, particularly for senior citizens, in facilitating online bookings until recently, merit commendation. However, I find myself compelled to voice dissent against the recent decision by the TTD board, mandating senior citizens to queue early in the morning to secure tokens for evening Darshan—a decision not only condemned but deemed unacceptable. The notion of individuals above seventy years enduring the rigors of standing in line is undeniably burdensome. While the administration's provision of refreshments and assistance for senior citizens while waiting is commendable, the recent implementation of queuing for token collection is met with my strong disagreement. I implore the authorities to reconsider and revert to the previous system of online booking for senior citizens, which would undoubtedly alleviate their plight. Given the myriad health challenges that senior citizens face, standing in queues is an insurmountable challenge. I know him for more than a decade and was amazed with his dedicated service to people who has personal problems, vizdepression .many are satisfied and spread his work to others was laudable. The most astonishing aspect was he never chargefor his consultation only prescription and good words to patients. He has established his Samadana Hospital opt name for the people .More than decade his service is continuing and recently he was bestowed Padma Sri award though it was late for his excellent dedicated work.He was also worked in Nimhans if I am right and decided to play his service through his Samadana banner.Today I am happy to tribute and Salute this PadmaAwarde in my blogs. The fireworks industry has witnessed a few incidents in the past. Safety issues should be looked in to and the employees protected. Working at a firecrackers factory involves high risk and the workers should be looked after.
