Appreciation for The Fascination Station
The recent release of The Fascination Station, written by my good friend N. S. Vijayakumar, was a truly delightful experience. The book takes readers on a fascinating journey into a different world, filled with travel, memories, experiences and interesting encounters.
Beginning with the author’s 72nd birthday celebration and his visit to Begur, the book gets off to a wonderful start. His vast travel experience, visits to various destinations and restaurants, and his keen interest in interacting with book publishers and readers are truly admirable.
In this edition, his journeys to various destinations and his descriptions of famous places, including Nanjangud and many others, have been presented in a very interesting and engaging manner. I was particularly fascinated by his vivid description of the different varieties of jackfruit and the innovative way in which its by-products, especially delicious jackfruit chips, have been incorporated into the narrative.
The introduction and appreciation of this versatile traveller and Quiz Master by several great personalities add further value and significance to the book.
N. S. Vijayakumar has once again demonstrated his remarkable versatility, curiosity and passion for travel and learning. His ability to transform his experiences into an enjoyable reading journey is truly commendable.
I warmly congratulate my dear friend N. S. Vijayakumar on this wonderful publication .
With warm regards,
K. Ragavan
