Letter Published in The National UAE on 1June 20 I am glad India is finally easing  it's lock down   I write to you in reference to your article India to ease world's biggest lockdown as coronavirus cases rise (May 30). This piece about the Indian government's proposal for easing the lockdown despite the recent increase in coronavirus cases in the country was interesting but unsurprising. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also decided to meet low-income workers and others who have been impacted by the economic downturn from the coronavirus, a good public relations move. On the one hand people should thank the Indian government for easing restrictions and allowing them to make a living, but on the other hand people should not take this for granted and must continue to follow social distancing rules.

Today i remembered another interesting Film Personality from South Indian Film Industry is none other than actor Anant Nag.Started his career as a theater artist and later came to film industry If i am right Stalwart Director Shyam Benegal introduced him  through  Ankur Hindi film gave a good start  for him.Later he acted in Kannada films and created a big impact .In his nearly Five decades film career has acted in Kannada,Telugu,Malayalam ,and Hindi movies and Marati  if i am correct..In his younger days he was in politics and played a good roll.He was bestowed with  many awards as Best actor is worth to be mentioned here.I have been watching his movies  for more than three and half decades and admired this actor’s action in all rolls.Soft spoken ,smiling ,versatile actor Anant Nag liked by one and all from the Film Fraternity.Even though he has many films  in his credit i have seen few films of this Legend.Those films are Nodi SwamyNaviroduHige,Ramapurada Ravana,Olavebaduku,Accident,HosaNeru,Kurukshetra,Rana dheera,Shanthinivasa,Abhimanyu,Ganeshana Maduve,GouriGanesa,Rajakeya,Kathambari,India VSEngland and few i could n’t recollect.He has worked with all actors,directors Cinematographers and  music directors.He has done a Wonderful  Jobof  both in theater as well Film industry especially Kannada films. This Legend also  bestowed the Life Time Achievement Award . To my little knowledge i am writing this column.If any error found should be ignored.Today i am very happy to tribute this talented Legend.

This news item was a difficult read. It is unacceptable for a man to die in custody. The police should protect the people, not threaten their lives. The US often falls prey to shooting rampages due to their gun culture. Paired with institutional racism against certain communities, the combo can only be disastrous. Justice must be served for those who have taken Floyd's life.

Distancing should not be ignored.

The decision of Karnataka government to open up all offices from I june is a welcoming one.Adequate transport firms will take care of the staff members to transport.The City will come back to the Normalcy however people should not for get the distancing.

Recent 248 New cases in Karnataka state was really an alarming threat comparing to the earlier cases.However State is batting with utmost care and arrangements.Virus is spreading very faster in India than other countries as per experts and reports.Still people have to be more careful.

With reference to the report Coronavirus: WHO suspends trials of hydroxychloroquine as treatment (May 26): the decision of the WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is a good and timely move. His decision came after a study suggested the drug could increase the risk of death among Covid-19 patients. Safety is important during this hour. Already the virus has taken too many lives, the toll in the US alone nearing 100,000. Even though US President Donald Trump had been taking it, if the drug is any threat to life, it is sensible to pause trials.

Today i am going to pen another interesting film personality from the South Indian  Film Industry is none other than Editor Director B.Lenin.In his Five and half decades film career he has created abig name for him and his remarkable work in Tamil,Telugu, Malayalamand Kannada  films is not an exaggerated one.Apart from Editing he has directed few Tamil films shows his knowledge about Direction.Incidently he is the son of Late Stalwart Director A.Bhimsingh and elder brother of Kannan a Wonderful Cinematographer who has worked with Veteran Director Bharathi Raja in many of his films.Editing plays an important roll in any film and today Film Industry has talented editors and Lenin is one among them.He has worked with many leading Directors and proved his mettle With so many Editors  Lenin has his own place is very important.. I have seen many films of this Editor.Few films viz,Nayagan Mouna Ragam  i still remember.,Today i am very happy to tribute this talented Editor Director.

Letter Published in The National UAE on 25May 20Afghanistan's maternity ward attack was a new lowWith reference to Stefanie Glinski's report ‘I am both your father and your mother’, Afghan husbands mourn wives killed in maternity clinic attack (May 23): the attack on the Afghanistan maternity clinic was numbing. The actions of the perpetrators are an unacceptable. Gunmen dressed in police uniforms storming a maternity clinic and killing 24 – including newborn babies and 16 mothers who had just given birth is a new low. I pray for the souls of these innocent victims and their grieving families.

Today i am going to pen another interesting film personality from the South Indian Film Industry is none other than Cinematographer H.C.Venugopal .In his three decades film career he has worked with all the leading actors of Tamil,and Kannada actors and  Directors is worth to be mentioned here.Good Cinematography will be more visible in his frame work both in indoor as well out door.He has more than Twenty five films both Kannada and Tamil and many are hit movies.I have seen three Kannada pictire of this Cinematographer.Those films are Rajadhani,Chingari,and Jaihind 2.Jaihind 2 he has done a Wonderful work along with Director Arjun  in the foreign locations of UK Film Industry of all languages has talented technicians especially Cinematographers shows youngsters are selecting their career.. Today i am very happy to tribute this talented Cinematographer who has given many remarkable films of both Kannada and Tamil.

I write to you in reference to Coronavirus: two new studies find 'no benefit' from anti-malaria drug (May 15). What a disappointment. This article revealed that the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine, on which so many politicians and some scientists had pinned their hopes for a coronavirus cure, was proven to be completely ineffective against the disease. Hydroxychloroquine is very effective against malaria, the disease it was designed to combat, but has absolutely no effect whatsoever on patients suffering from the novel coronavirus.

Now that one potential solution ended up being little more than false hope, it is time to focus the world’s efforts on other promising cures for the coronavirus, such as stem cell treatments.

Today i remembered another interesting film personality from the South Indian Film Industry is none other than actor Rahman.In his Three decades film career he has acted more than 150 films if i am right.Tamil,Telugu,Kannada and Malayalam films are his contribution.Known for his rolls in many films wheather negative or hero  he has proved his mettle.One of the versatile ,and sophisticated actor i have seen in the Indian screen.1980-90 he was dominated in Tamil Film Industry is not an exaggerated one.He has acted in Small screen also,Bestowed many awards for his remarkable rolls.I have seen couple of films of this actor in Tamil and Kannada ( Pagadai attam,Tamil remake and one more ),Those films are Seetha,Puriyadha puthir,Udan Pirapu,Kalki,Singam 11,Sangamam,Ethiri,Ninaikatha Nalillai,Kaasu,Kutrapathirikai . Thuthukudi ,Vaamanan  and few i could n't remember.Two Kannada films i have seen.Both he has acted as Cop and proved his talent.He is one of the talented and versatile actors in the Film Industry.
He has worked with all the leading actors and Directors.Today i am very happy to tribute this talented actor.

Regarding the article India gas leak: evacuation zone widened around Visakhapatnam plant (May 8): the 1984 tragedy at the Union Carbide factory in the city of Bhopal that claimed over 3700 lives is still in our memory. This accident at the polymer factory that took away 11 lives must be investigated. I pray for the departed and for the speedy recovery of the hundreds injured.

The Recent High Court orders of Chennai for Tas Marc out lets is a good move. The recent tragic Polymer factory accident that has taken away 11lives in Visakapatinam is not only condemned but also unacceptable Industrial units of any nature must be accountable.This accident Is remembering the old Bhopal gas unit accident which is still in our memory.This accident should be investigated and whoever be responsibility for this should not be spared.I Pray for the departed lives and speedy recovery for the injured. Today i am going to pen another interesting film personality from the Bolly Wood Film Industry is none other than actor late. Rishikapoor.Born in the Film family of R,K .Films the late Legend Director Raj kapoor and  appeared as a child artist in his dad's film Shree 420  when he was three years old.Later he started acting and his first movie was Mera Naam Joker and later he acted his Dad's ambitious film Bobby as hero and  film made Super hit in 1973 especially  songs and other aspects.That gave him a good start for his film career as hero and acted more than 92films in romantic rolls is worth to be mentioned here.He was bestowed with many awards for his beautiful work.He and his actress wife Neetu Singh acted in many films and gave good entertainment to his fans.He acted in many films and did all kinds of roles and captured the minds of millions. I still remember few films of this doyen,Those films are Karz,AmarAkbar Anthony,Chandni,Agnee path ,and Mulk.Many i could n't recollect. His relatively latest film, “102 Not Out” with Amitabh Bachchan was remarkable. Charming soft spoken Rishi  Kapoor is no more, but his films are still here. This is another blow to the film industry after veteran actor Irfaan khan's demise. . I pray for  both the  actors  grieving family members  during this time.Kapoor left his talented actor son Ranbir and daughterToday i am very happy to tribute this Legend.

Easing of restrictions is welcome, but they must be carried out carefullyI write to you in reference to your article Coronavirus latest: WHO urges countries to ease lockdowns slowly (May 2). This is a meaningful and thought-provoking piece. Lockdown measures have been in place all over the world for a good while now, and many nations are ready to open up their economies. At the same time, if they do it too hastily, and people stop following physical distancing and hygiene rules overnight, experts have warned that it is likely a second wave of infections will hit. Eased restrictions must be carried out in stages, and with great care. The world economy has already been shattered, and prolonging the lockdowns will take a toll on both our morale and the economy. India is taking this challenge head-on and easing restrictions carefully. I hope that in the coming days, a sense of normalcy will return to India.
