Eternal
charm
AFRIEND had invited
me for a get-together
at my hometown in India.
I met a couple of old
friends. We were discussing
about rains when
a friend’s son wished me
and asked if I could spare
a few minutes.
He then thrust a CV on
my hand and said: “Since
you have spent 16 years
in the UAE, could you
suggest a job for me
there?” I was wondering,
recession or no recession,
the UAE’s charm is everlasting.
