Loss of green cover
Sir,- The garden city has lost it's charm.The innumerable trees that dotted the city are now being axed.Lake encroachment and poor maintenance of tanks,and dis charge of efflluents in to water bodies have increased the pollution levels.This state of affairs has earned the ire of the National Green Tribunal.Swiftaction by the authorities is the need of the hour.
