Regarding Taniya Dutta's report Coronavirus: ‘inevitable’ India will become outbreak hotspot, health experts say (March 21): given the global scenario about how this virus is spreading and with casualties increasing everyday, one should be especially careful. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a speech calling for a one day shutdown. People on Sunday, March 22 are to avoid of stepping out of the house. This will help contain the virus for a day at least, as crowds will refrain from public places and Sunday is when people step out. But this is just one measure to prevent the spread of the virus infecting others. We need to do much more and not just for a day.
